Roxanne Perez will win Money in the Bank
USA TODAY Sports via Reuters Connect

Money in the Bank is one month away from coming to New Orleans, where it will be that time of the year to determine who will be Mr. and Mrs. Money in the Bank. Mr. Money in the Bank will be quite unpredictable, but so will Mrs.Money in the Bank.

But Roxanne Perez should be the favorite to win Money In The Bank. The current storyline that Perez is in with the Judgement Day makes all the sense in the world for her to be the new Mrs. Money in the Bank.

She is the only one without any Gold

Among the group, Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and JD McDonough have all won a championship at least once when part of the Judgement Day. Currently, Morgan is the Women’s world champion, and Rodriguez is the women’s international champion. Mysterio is currently the AAA mega champion, and while McDonough currently isn’t a champion, he has previously held the tag team titles as part of the Judgement Day.

For Perez, the current group is making it feel like she’s an outcast or the weak link of the group, also taking losses and never in any meaningful feuds. She did have an injury that put her on the shelf for a couple of months earlier this year. Ever since her return, however, she hasn’t been booked right, and honestly it’s been disappointing as she was a top star in NXT and came into the main roster with all this hype.

It now feels she is trapped in the Judgement Day vortex and is just being a background character when her potential is sky high. But luckily those fortunes can change with a Money in the Bank victory.

A win would be very telling for the Judgement Day, as the group could be tense between Perez and Morgan. Morgan, as the champion, would always have to look over her shoulder with Perez always carrying the briefcase around. Perez could turn on Morgan and the Judgement Day and finally be a singles star and start reaching her potential in the WWE.

The prodigy is already a great heel and amazing on the mic, and she is great in the ring. She is great all around. Whether or not she will be a heel or babyface if she leaves Judgment Day will be a question as well.

It will be interesting to see if Perez can triumph and win Money in the Bank; then there’s no telling what the future holds for her, potentially a career-defining moment.
