Scarlett Shares Incredible Video Of Karrion Kross Getting Mobbed By Fans In Saudi Arabia

Karrion Kross has had an interesting few months in WWE. Kross cut a fiery promo earlier this year criticizing WWE for not using him. It was effectively a Hail Mary that could have ended in his release, but fan support post-promo has earned him a more regular spot on TV. That has now led to Kross wrestling at Night of Champions this weekend, and how fans are reacting to him proves WWE was right to take him on the trip.

Karrion Kross Is A Big Hit With Fans In Saudi Arabia

Kross's wife and fellow WWE Superstar Scarlett shared a video of the two of them out on the streets of Riyadh on Thursday night, and it looks like the two of them, particularly Kross, are pretty popular. Scarlett directs the phone at her husband, who is effectively being mobbed by fans who have recognized them. Not in a negative way, as the wrestling couple appears to be enjoying the attention.

"An evening stroll in Riyadh with Karrion Kross reminded us how powerful the connection with fans can be. Humbled and grateful," Scarlett tweeted along with the video. There's a second video in the replies, that appears to have been filmed by a fan, that appears to be from the same evening stroll and demonstrates even further just how many people came out to show their love for Kross and Scarlett.

Kross Wasn't On The Night Of Champions Card Until This Week

Kross will wrestle Sami Zayn at Night of Champions this weekend, but it wasn't until a few days ago that the match was added to the card. It might not have been added at all had it not been for AJ Styles and Dominik Mysterio's Intercontinental Title match being removed. Mysterio is injured, and WWE needed a match to plug the gap, and Kross's rivalry with Zayn fit the bill.

If the love Kross got just wandering the streets is anything to go by, the reaction for him when he makes his entrance on Saturday night should be a big one. Potentially big enough that WWE levels up his push yet again. Despite landing himself a marquee match on a PLE, Kross's push hasn't elevated him that much higher than a regular spot on Main Event. A big reaction on Saturday could see him featured more prominently on Raw in the future.

If the Saudi Arabian fans aid Kross in his quest to become a bigger deal in WWE even further, then he'll be thanking his lucky stars that Night of Champions is going ahead as planned. There was a point earlier this week when it seemed like the show might be called off following the US attacks on Iran.
