Seth Rollins Update: Latest on Injury That Might Have Forced Turn on Raw

Seth Rollins reportedly suffered a legitimate injury at Crown Jewel. While unconfirmed, the speculation is that Rollins' injury jolted WWE's creative direction to have Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman turn on him on Raw.

Originally reported by PW Insider, the belief within WWE is that Rollins suffered an arm injury while performing the epic (but costly) Coast-to-Coast headbutt on Cody Rhodes during Saturday's main event.

Rollins did not appear injured throughout Monday's Raw. He opened the show flanked by The Vision and cut a victory promo in which he simultaneously praised his former stablemates, while dissing them at the same time by declaring he "needs no one."

Throughout the night, Rollins appeared backstage and alluded to "something big" happening, but an injury-forced turn was not on our horizon.

How Long Will Seth Rollins Be Out For?

WWE has not confirmed Rollins' injury, so it remains to be seen exactly how long he will be out of action for. He has already been pulled from WWE's upcoming Japan tour. If his injury requires surgery, fans could expect him to be out of action for about 4-6 months. That timeline would allow for "The Visionary" to be medically cleared by WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

What Will Happen to the World Heavyweight Championship?

CM Punk is the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. He was also the champion before Rollins cashed in on him at SummerSlam.

Triple H posted the graphic for WWE's next Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1, which features Punk. Likely, Punk will be fighting for the championship in Salt Lake City
— he could also be champion by then.

Is Seth Rollins Really Injured?

Fans have reason to speculate about this. Rollins just pulled off the "Ruse of Century" two months ago — even fooling fellow WWE stars and legends.

However, early indications point toward this being a legitimate injury. Below is fan footage of Rollins exiting the RAC Arena after Raw.

He was also spotted wearing a brace while eating ice cream in Australia.

What's Next for The Vision?

The Vision as we knew it is done, but Breakker, Reed, and Heyman still seem to be aligned. Many questions remain — WWE's creative may not yet have the answers.

  • Is Bron Breakker the new leader of The Vision?
  • Will the group remain heel or turn babyface?
  • Will another star like Brock Lesnar be inserted into the group?

We will get answers to some of these questions next Monday on Raw in Sacramento, CA.
