Shawn Michaels has named a member of his NXT roster as one of two WWE superstars he finds most enjoyable to watch.

Shawn Michaels on Two WWE Stars He Enjoys Watching

Shawn Michaels has been NXT's head booker since September 2021, after Paul 'Triple H' Levesque took over WWE's main roster creative responsibilities as chief content officer. He has found success in helping develop some of the brightest talents in the company, including Bron Breakker and Stephanie Vaquer, who have become major players on RAW.

The WWE Hall of Famer spoke about the WWE roster and the talent at his and Triple H's disposal. He gave a glowing verdict of a duo who have been partnering up on NXT in recent weeks (via Justin Barrasso's Undisputed substack): "Ethan Page and Chelsea Green, to me, are two of the most enjoyable people that I watch on television."

Chelsea Green has recently made appearances on NXT alongside Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, members of her group 'The Green Regime'. She has become one of the most popular stars in WWE despite playing a complaining Karen-like heel.

The former Women's United States Champion has backed up Ethan Page on NXT and they were victorious in a mixed tag team match against Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele at NXT Heatwave (August 24). They have comedically portrayed two proud Canadians which even includes hilarious social media videos along with Niven and Fyre.

Michaels added, "Whether Chelsea’s on a main roster show or she’s on ours, I just get a kick out of her. She’s fantastic and a hard worker. With Ethan Page, it’s the same thing."

Ethan Page has yet to be called up to the main roster, but he has reportedly been monitored as a potential call-up in the near future. He arrived on NXT in May 2024 and has become a former NXT World Champion and a two-time NXT North American Champion.

Ethan Page To Join Main Roster Thanks To Chelsea Green?

WWE could use their successful partnership on NXT when calling Page up to the main roster, as he'll be presented alongside one of the most popular stars in Green. They had the full support of the crowd in Lowell, Massachusetts, in their tag match at Heatwave.

There are reasons Green and Page have partnered up in NXT that aren't solely down to their Canadian citizenship. The pair came through the Canadian independent wrestling scene before working together at Impact Wrestling (TNA).

They share remarkable chemistry with their mic work and their characters are the perfect match and a real hit with fans. It remains to be seen what the long-term plans are for the duo but they are gaining plenty of fan support.
