Bron Breakker didn't have much to celebrate in SummerSlam's opening match as he and Bronson Reed were defeated by Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. Breakker might have more to worry about than a loss, though, as footage filmed by fans seems to show the second-generation star struggling to get back to the locker room, limping and needing to be helped when he likely thought fans could no longer see him.
The footage was shared by the Public Enemies Podcast on Twitter, and fans who have seen the clip are fearing the worst. It shows Breakker visibly limping up the steps to the backstage area, and limping might well be an understatement. The former Intercontinental Champion appears to be almost unable to put any pressure on one of his legs whatsoever.

When Breakker makes it to the top of the steps, a WWE employee proceeds to help him carry on walking, a dejected Reed walking with his head down behind them as the wrestlers disappear from view. It would be a bitter blow for Breakker, Reed, and the heel group as a whole, as, unless his injury really has been made to seem worse than it is and he returns tonight to cash in Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins will be gone for a while.
As for when the injury may have occurred, fans seem to think it was the table spot that didn't seem to quite go to plan. Breakker accidentally smashed his leg on the announce table, a missed spot that could have definitely led to the young star having to limp once the match was done. Some fans have even claimed Breakker looked off after the spot, perhaps relying on adrenaline to carry him through the rest of the match.
As noted above, it will be a real shame if Breakker is hurt. Not only because that will leave his faction seriously depleted, but also because Breakker clearly has the rocket strapped to him right now. Breakker has everything he needs to be a top star in WWE for the next decade, maybe even longer. While an injury won't delay that completely, it would certainly be a setback.
Breakker might not be as hurt as he seems, of course. Maybe it's something he can walk off or recover from in a few days. There's also the very real chance he knew fans could still see him, and this is all a part of the act.
