Taiji Ishimori will headline another show in his name, titled “Superhuman Taiji Ishimori Gets Even More Ridiculous,” this coming Tuesday, October 7. This serves as a sequel to last year’s “Superhuman Taiji Ishimori Gets Ridiculous,” and will be live on pay-per-view at NJPW World at 6:30 p.m. JST/5:30 a.m. ET.
Since it will be a pay-per-view presentation, even fans without an NJPW World subscription can watch the show. All you have to do is purchase it directly from the streaming platform.
Here’s what you can expect in this unique, interpromotional affair:
The AI matchmaker from last year’s show is back to give Ishimori a tough night. There’s only one guaranteed match on the card, which is the Ironman Rumble.
The rules of the match are as follows:
Other announced entrants: Shingo Takagi (NJPW) & Dragon Dia (Dragongate)
Shingo Takagi started his career in Dragongate and shares a Toryumon past with both Ishimori and Dia. Dia faced Ishimori in the main event of last year’s show, and both share a connection to Dragon Kid.
Other announced entrants: SHO (NJPW) & HYO (Dragongate)
Deducing from the block’s name and its entrants, this one will feature wrestlers with impressive physiques. All three of the announced competitors do meet this
qualification, which means the rest of the field should be quite the specimens.
Other announced entrants: YOH (NJPW), MAO (DDT), & Great Sasuke
(Michinoku Pro)
Including Ishimori, this block will have wrestlers hailing from the Tohoku region of northeast Japan. It has the biggest announced name so far in this
block and show: Michinoku Pro’s founder, Great Sasuke.
No other entrants are announced for this one, which means the remaining seven wrestlers will be a surprise.
Can the Bone Soldier survive this gauntlet made by the AI matchmaker? We will all find out this Tuesday at Korakuen Hall.
