The February 13, 2026, episode of Friday Night SmackDown featured an epic ten-man tag team match. MFT prevailed over Apollo Crews, Carmelo Hayes, Ilja Dragunov, Matt Cardona, and Shinsuke Nakamura. It was a very chaotic match, with action both in and out of the ring at various times.
In the end, Tama Tonga used the Cutthroat to pin Carmelo Hayes, giving the victory to MFT. It was clear they put this little rivalry behind them, as it was a distraction to what they’re really dealing with right now.
They are still in possession of the Wyatt Sicks’ lantern, which rightly belongs to them, and the WWE Tag Team Championships, which they think belong to them. However, they were given a surprise that would hinder another confrontation with the Wyatts. Would they deal with this problem in a swift manner?
MFT entered the February 20 SmackDown in a cheerful mood. They have the tag titles, the Wyatts’ lantern, and a victory in a ten-man tag team match. It was clear they were going to have a celebration, but it ended up being short-lived. Cardona, Crews, and Dragunov attacked them once again, but MFT easily took care of them.
The Wyatts then delivered a video message, with Uncle Howdy saying he wanted Solo alone without his family. Before he could respond, it was clear a score had to be settled with the men who continually attacked his family tree.
Tama, the man who won the ten-man tag, was going to face Dragunov, the man who fought back the most in their exchange. When the match began, they immediately started with action-packed maneuvers. Dragunov’s chops and slam on the mat nearly gave him the victory early, but Tama kicked out. After an unsuccessful pinfall by Tama soon afterwards, Dragunov began to do what he does best. He began slapping Tama, who started to slap him back.
After several rounds of hitting, they ran towards each other and collided in the center of the ring. Dragunov suplexed Tama, then began a shouting match with Sikoa. The two traded near pinfalls, but not before JC Mateo tried to interfere unsuccessfully. Dragunov then kicked Tama in the face, giving him the advantage.
Tonga Loa then jumped on the apron, prompting Dragunov to try and fail to kick him as well. Clearly distracted, Tama delivered the Cutthroat to get the pinfall victory. Once again, MFT used their tricks in order to get the win. But with a meeting with the Wyatt Sicks getting closer each week, will their strength be enough to retain their tag titles?
