Tennessee first baseman Blake Burke does his best Stone Cold Steve Austin impression at the Vols' championship parade
Brianna Paciorka/News Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Tennessee Vols have been a team that's been known for being wild and enjoying themselves over the years, to the delight of some and the chagrin of others.  Those same people will likely be laughing and clapping or snarling and grumbling about the continued fun that Tony Vitello's Vols are having after claiming the national championship over Texas A&M on Monday night 6-5 in Omaha.

During the Vols' championship parade on Tuesday evening through downtown Knoxville, players and coaches paraded through a sea of orange fans.  It appears as though someone had some beer outside the float.

In perfect Stone Cold Steve Austin fashion, first baseman Blake Burke summoned with his hand that someone toss him a can, which happened quickly.  Burke grabbed the beer (or what appears to be one), cracked it, and dumped it in the general direction of his mouth from high up as the crowd roared.

It's not clear if that's what Burke was directly intending to do, but his impersonation was spot on of the former WWE champion.  Austin's signature move after delivering his finisher in the ring - the Stone Cold Stunner - on an opposing wrestler or one of the McMahan family was a one-finger salute followed by calling for and chugging a beer.  Naturally, that made the man also known as the Texas Rattlesnake quite popular with the masses who attended and followed wrestling.

It appears that trend hasn't changed much over the years.

The Vols aren't ever going to be popular with some folks, and that's absolutely fine.  However, they're not going to change a thing, and that's also perfectly fine.  After all these guys have earned their moment and they deserve to have their fun.

And that's the bottom line, because Blake Burke said so.
