'The Toxic Spider' Former Stardom Champion Debuts On AEW Dynamite

Former STARDOM champion Thekla made her AEW debut tonight.
She came out and attacked Jamie Hayter.

AEW Dynamite is coming back after having a massively successful edition of Double or Nothing. That show would see the finals of both Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments, an Anarchy in the Arena match, and much more.

With all of that excitement from the PPV, it seems AEW left some stuff for tonight's episode of Dynamite as fans got to witness the debut of a new wrestler.

Jamie Hayter was set to come out and speak with Renee Paquette and the AEW crowd about what exactly is next for the former AEW Women's World Champion after her loss to Mercedes Mone at Double or Nothing, but she wouldn't have much time to say anything.

That was due to the newest signing for AEW, Thekla. She came out and attacked Hayter, leaving her lying in the ring before going to commercial.

Thekla started her professional wrestling career in 2017 and would be best known to wrestling fans for her tenure in World Wonder Ring STARDOM. It would be there that she captured a few titles, such as the SWA Undisputed World, Artist of Stardom, and Goddesses of Stardom titles.

Thekla wrapped up her career with STARDOM at their All-Star Grand Queendom event where she suffered a loss to Sayaka Kurara and was supposed to join the Cosmic Angels faction. Instead, she would assault the STARDOM president, Taro Okada, resulting in her getting fired.
