The Undertaker Breaks Silence on Backstage Influence Allegations
Alan Poizner / USA TODAY NETWORK

Even though The Undertaker is long since officially retired from in-ring competition. His presence in WWE is still to this day. The former world champion is in close contact with Triple H and WWE management. Undertaker is well-known for his deep knowledge of the business, with WWE continuing to put him in a significant position behind the scenes, which, for the most part, has remained beneficial to the locker room.

The Deadman is a great mentor and a great inspiration to a myriad of rising stars. Recent rumors suggest he could be using his backstage influence to shape storylines and give preference to certain wrestlers.

The Undertaker Reacts to the Accusations

The Undertaker addressed the rumors directly during the last episode of his podcast, “Six Feet Under.” ‘Taker explains that he has done much more than he ever imagined he would do in his career, and the amount of respect his colleagues afforded him, and continue to afford him, was much more significant to him than titles or awards. He explained that his inner circle and the wrestlers he spent time with in the locker room were the real parts of his everyday life.

The Undertaker denied ever abusing his influence backstage. He said nearly all of his trainees could confirm that he never used his reputation for personal gain. He found it absurd that online rumors and so-called reliable sources were taken as truth. Rather than feed the speculation, he made it clear he wouldn’t waste time giving explanations to people who thrive on controversy.

What’s Next for The Phenom?

The accusations have done little to tarnish The Undertaker’s legacy in wrestling. Fans still speculate about a possible WWE return, fueled by rumors that he could step back into the ring at WrestleMania 43 in 2027 in Saudi Arabia.
