Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (4/9/26) – Two Days Before TNA Rebellion
Courtesy of TNA Wrestling

The last Thursday Night iMPACT before TNA Rebellion. Nine matches are already on the card, but one or two could emerge from the episode. The mystery continues as Tessa Blanchard is now trapped in the Undead Realm. Also, Rosemary tries to resurrect Allie, her fellow Bunny.

The company has been teasing some strange figures on social media. 08-10-18+19-28-12-6-7-30+31-09: may it be dates, or locations? We’ll probably know more at TNA Rebellion. Same for the mystery lockbox that reappeared today on TNA social media (see at the end of the piece). Usually a sign of good things.

Last night on NXT, there was no content related to TNA Wrestling. Then, NXT’s Arianna Grace became the new TNA Knockouts Champion at TNA No Surrender. As long as an NXT star holds a TNA title, taking a look at what happened on NXT will be useful.

Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT may be a WWE show; observing what happens on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps getting bigger. Let’s Nygma-dive into it.

Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (4/9/26) – The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

Tensions rise as Mike Santana and Eddie Edwards come face-to-face for the Rebellion contract signing ahead of their TNA World Championship clash. With emotions running high, this confrontation could explode before they even reach the ring.

After The Righteous attacked Matt Hardy at Sacrifice and in the stairwell, The Hardys put their TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line against The Righteous in a high-stakes Tables Match where anything goes. With chaos guaranteed and tables waiting to be shattered, both teams are ready to push the limits for tag team supremacy. Expect a brutal, unpredictable battle where only one team walks out still standing.

Elayna Black’s intensity meets Myla Grace’s confidence in a high-energy clash, as both look to make a statement in the Knockouts division.

Frankie Kazarian looks to prove his veteran dominance as he goes one-on-one with the rising and unpredictable BDE. Experience clashes with hunger in a matchup that could shift momentum in the division. BDE aims to make a statement, while Kazarian is determined to show he’s still a step ahead.

Jada Stone and Dani Luna collide in a hard-hitting showdown as two rising stars look to gain momentum in the Knockouts division. With both competitors eager to prove themselves, expect an intense fight from start to finish.

We’ll hear from Mustafa Ali, as he hits the iMPACT! zone with Order 4.

Ricky Sosa takes the spotlight after officially signing with TNA Wrestling at Sacrifice, ready to deliver a bold message and make his intentions crystal clear.

As Rebellion approaches and her Hardcore Country Match against The Elegance Brand draws near, we’ll hear from Taryn Terrell.

Thursday Night iMPACT Preview (4/2/26) – The Nygma’s View

With 4 matches and 4 segments, this episode is the last rites one. With nine matches signed for TNA Rebellion on April 11,  TNA Wrestling now has to perfect its card, with meaningful segments and maybe a few more matches.

TNA Rebellion things

Mike Santana and Eddie Edwards sign their Rebellion TNA World Championship match contract. Daria Rae and Santino Marella should be around the table, too. The question is, who, Santana or Edwards, will lose his mind first? Because Edwards has the System by his side, he will probably have a backup plan. When it comes to Santana, he will stay focused. Nygma says: This match is going to be huge.

Frankie Kazarian faces BDE. As he faces Elijah at TNA Rebellion, we could easily imagine The Drifter coming and costing him the match. He could come after the match, too. Nygma says: There’s no reason for Kazarian not to weaken his opponent by any means possible. The King of TNA is merciless.

Mustafa Ali has some things to say. There’s no doubt he has to tell us about Trey Miguel and the TNA International Championship. Then, Ali means Order 4, so Special Agent 0, so Moose could also be involved. Nygma says: Ali is a gifted manipulator. He knows how to strike and when to strike. And usually, he strikes very hard.

Taryn Terrell has some things to say. With ODB and TNA Hall of Famer Mickie James, she will face the Elegance Brand at TNA Rebellion. Nygma says: I would have preferred to see the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship defended at TNA Rebellion. Instead, it will be a kind of catfight between two generations of Knockouts. Sad but true.

Could lead to TNA Rebellion things (or not)

Ricky Sosa has something to say. And for sure, Eric Young will come to reply. At TNA Sacrifice, the Cleanse welcomed Sosa in his own way. EY is indeed a kind of gatekeeper in TNA. The hard work indeed starts now for Sosa, as he has to shine on a new continent. Then, don’t expect EY to do anything but attack him. Nygma says: Potential TNA Rebellion match here.

Jada Stone faces Dani Luna. Everyone knows Dani Luna was granted her release after TNA Sacrifice. If TNA Wrestling chose to air this match, the reason could be related to Jada Stone. As Stone has had issues with Order 4, it may mean Tasha Steelz. Nygma says: Potential TNA Rebellion match? We’ll see.

Elayna Black faces Myla Grace, with Harley Hudson by her side. There’s no reason to find here something potentially related to Rebellion. It’s another way for Black to show how mean she can be. Nygma says: Don’t expect anything here other than a Kockouts match.

The Hardys face The Righteous for the TNA World Tag Team Championship in a Tables match. Vincent and Dutch chose to go to the Hardys’ extreme territory. Two days before TNA Rebellion, where the brothers face the System, this match comes at the worst time. Nygma says: If I don’t think the Hardys will lose the titles that night, there’s something bizarre in this story. After all, Vincent and Dutch are the champions of everything bizarre.

I’ll see you on Friday with all the results and the review. The complete TNA Rebellion preview will also be available on Friday. I’ll see you all live on Saturday night (well, Sunday morning) to live the PLE together. As I have already said many times, 2026 is a loaded year for TNA Wrestling. Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC era is nothing but Nygma. How else could it be? Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
