In the aftermath of “Bound For Glory,” TNA Wrestling aired a special “After The Glory” edition of “iMPACT.” The best moments from TNA’s biggest pay-per-view of the year were recapped. There were also in-studio interviews.

The show began with footage of newly minted TNA World Champion Mike Santana celebrating with his daughter. Tom Hannifan welcomed fans to “After The Glory.” Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt were in a studio and discussed the energy of “Bound For Glory.”

Steve Maclin’s Special Night

Footage of Steve Maclin backstage following his TNA International Championship win over Frankie Kazarian aired. Maclin said he would’ve entered the Call Your Shot gauntlet if he could.

Reliving Leon Slater vs. Je’Von Evans

TNA showed a replay of “NXT” general manager Ava and Santino Marella agreeing to Slater defending the TNA X Division Championship against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on next week’s episode of WWE’s developmental brand. The show then cut to clips of Slater vs. Evans from “Bound For Glory.”

Leon Slater Interview

Leon Slater was interviewed in-studio by Hannifan and Rehwoldt. The TNA X Division Champion said it was surreal, first sharing the ring with Je’Von Evans. Slater said he was well aware of Evans before their match was booked.

Slater said the fans in Lowell made his match with Evans special due to the anticipation. Slater said never faced someone who shares as many similarities in the ring as Evans. Slater then reflected on DarkState ruining his match against Evans, but he vowed to get revenge.

TNA Hall of Fame 2025 Recapped

Clips of Mickie James and The Beautiful People being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame aired. Matthew Rehwoldt said he was touched by Velvet Sky and Angelina Love growing as friends during their time as a tag team.

Mickie James Appears as Surprise Guest

Mickie James joined the studio. James was asked about her initial reaction to being told that she was being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. She said she was in “complete shock” and is honored to have been inducted. She also put over The Beautiful People.

James admitted there was a lot on her mind as she prepared for her speech. She looked back on her first moments in TNA Wrestling. She said everyone in the locker room was excited about the promotion during that era. She discussed working with the likes of Raven and CM Punk during her early days in TNA. James also thanked Tommy Dreamer.

She explained selecting Lisa Marie Varon as the one to induct her. She said aside from Varon’s own accolades, the two are close friends. James then joked about the time she had slammed a guitar over Rehwoldt’s head.

James praised the crossover with TNA Wrestling and “NXT.” She then revealed a private chat with Kelani Jordan after her victory over Indi Hartwell at “Bound For Glory.”

Eric Young Crashes After The Glory

Eric Young suddenly appeared in the studio. He reminded Hannifan that he was once one half of the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions. Young then said he never actually lost that title. He then trashed social media star BDE after eliminating him in the Call Your Shot gauntlet.

Young was asked about his cleanse of TNA. He told Hannifan that whatever he thinks should be fixed will be fixed. He claimed TNA is against him. He said Hannifan and Rehwoldt are part of the problem.

The Hardys vs. Team 3D for the Last Time

TNA aired the biggest moments from the table match between The Hardys and Team 3D. The emotional sendoff for Bully Ray and D-Von was also shown. Back in the studio, Hannifan and Rehwoldt looked back at the history of the rivalry between The Hardys and Team 3D. Hannifan then listed the TNA accomplishments of both teams.

The Hardys Look Back on One Last Table

Following a replay of The Hardys being ambushed by DarkState on “NXT,” the legendary team appeared in the studio. The Hardys were asked about the emotions following “Bound For Glory.” Matt Hardy said it was tough to put away Team 3D, but it’s a lesson that there must be a winner and a loser.

Jeff Hardy reflected on the legendary “Royal Rumble 2000” match against Team 3D. He said both he and his brother were stunned when Bully Ray proposed the final match between both teams.

The Hardys then discussed Team 3D handing them their boots at “Bound For Glory.” Matt said it was the ultimate sign of respect.

The Conclusion of Bound For Glory 2025

Hannifan and Rehwoldt looked back at the conclusion of “Bound For Glory,” which saw Mike Santana win the TNA World Championship. The TNA commentary team then discussed Elijah preventing Nic Nemeth from cashing in his half of the Call Your Shot gauntlet trophy, followed by Kazarian eating Spin The Block.

Mike Santana’s Crowning Moment

The key moments of Mike Santana’s TNA World Championship victory over Trick Williams at “Bound For Glory” aired. Santana then joined Hannifan and Rehwoldt. Santana said the match was the toughest fight of his life outside of overcoming addiction.

Santana looked back on the special message Konnan left for him before his “Bound For Glory” win. He then talked about first getting to know Konnan and how the two have always “kept it real.” Santana then delivered an old Spanish saying, “Life will give you surprises, and surprises will give you life.” Santana reflected on the disappointed look on his daughter’s face on the car ride home from his loss at “TNA Slammiversary.” He made a promise that he’ll never disappoint her again.

The TNA World Champion said his daughter has never forgotten the day he told her that he had to go away for rehab. He noted the importance of his daughter seeing her father overcome the odds. Santana said he could retire tomorrow because he’s already won in life.

Eric Young Warns TNA Wrestling

As Hannifan and Rehwoldt were signing off for “After The Glory,” Eric Young returned and continued talking about the cleanse of TNA. The show ended with Young laughing, while Hannifan and Rehwoldt looked terrified.
