Thursday’s episode of TNA “iMPACT” featured newly minted Knockouts champion Ash by Elegance following her shocking title win at NXT “Heatwave.” Plus, TNA World Champion Trick Williams teamed with AJ Francis to take on Mike Santana and TNA International Champion Steve Maclin.

Trick Williams & AJ Francis vs. Mike Santana & Steve Maclin

Trick Williams and Steve Maclin got things started. The top male titleholder in TNA ate a back elbow, followed by two chops to the chest. Mike Santana was tagged in, but Williams wanted no part of him. AJ Francis entered the ring and took some chops from Santana. Francis was then clotheslined out of the ring.

Maclin knocked Williams off the ring apron. He then pulled down the top rope, making it easier for Santana to dive on both Williams and Francis. Santana went for the Rolling Buck Fifty, but Francis clobbered him. Williams got the tag and chopped Santana in the corner.

Francis tagged back in, but Santana managed to tag Maclin in. Francis was wobbled by the Busaiku knee. Maclin then hit the Olympic Slam. Maclin went high-risk, but Williams managed to distract him. This allowed Francis to slam Maclin down to the mat.

Maclin was popped by Tennessee Whiskey. The TNA International Champion rebounded with a missile dropkick. Santana and Williams were the legal men. Santana delivered a flying clothesline. Williams got caught with the Rolling Buck Fifty for a near fall. Santana then connected with the Death Valley Driver, but Francis disrupted the pin attempt.

Williams accidentally hit a pump kick on Francis. Santana rolled Williams up off a Trick Shot attempt for the win.

Winners: Mike Santana and Steve Maclin

After the match, Williams shoved Santana, who retaliated before the TNA World Champion rolled out of the ring.

Leon Slater Torn About Tag Team Match

Gia Miller spoke to Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander. Miller asked Alexander why he requested to team with Slater to face The Hardys. Alexander said it’s due to his chemistry with Slater, who wasn’t happy about fighting Matt and Jeff Hardy. Slater admitted he wouldn’t mind adding more gold to his mantle.

Eric Young vs. Myron Reed w/Zachary Wentz

Myron Reed wasted little time delivering a kick to the side of Eric Young’s head. Young rolled out of the ring, but Reed took him out with a dive. Young raked the eyes of Reed and landed the Death Valley Driver. A mysterious masked man in the crowd held up a sign that read, “The cleanse is coming.”

Young went for a moonsault, but Reed moved out of the way. Reed landed a dropkick to the back of his opponent’s neck. Young was perched on the bottom rope, and Reed leaped over the top rope for a leg drop.

Young threatened to hit the referee, and he used the distraction to land a low blow on Reed. He then delivered a piledriver for the win.

Winner: Eric Young

Dani Luna Explains Heel Turn

Dani Luna was backstage and explained her attack on Indi Hartwell last week. Luna said Hartwell took everything from her by getting “lucky” in the gauntlet match last week. Luna said she is now officially out of limbo.

Welcome to the Elegance Era

The Elegance Brand was backstage, and Ash bragged about “saving” TNA by becoming the new Knockouts champion at “Heatwave.” Ash said we’re now in the Elegance era. Ash then announced there will be a championship celebration next week.

Fatal Influence vs. The IInspiration

Cassie Lee got Jazmyn Nyx in a headlock, but Fallon Henley made a blind tag. This allowed Nyx to land a kick. Jessica McKay was tagged in, and she stomped both members of Fatal Influence in the corner. Nyx pulled McKay off the apron, causing her to land on the edge of the ring apron.

Henley was knocked out of the ring. The IInspiration hit Nyx with The Idolizer for the win.

Trick Williams Calls For His Lawyer

Trick Williams was on the phone with his lawyer and claimed Mike Santana assaulted him. He then asked his lawyer to arrive at the iMPACT Zone.

Eddie Edwards w/Alisha Edwards vs. Ryan Nemeth

Before the match began, Ryan Nemeth was in the ring to remind everyone that his brother, Nic Nemeth, will return next week. Alisha and Eddie Edwards interrupted and said The System has turned over a new leaf. Alisha said fans are waiting for someone to shut Ryan’s mouth. Eddie popped Ryan, and the match was official.

Eddie had the advantage early on, but Ryan shoved his opponent into the corner. Eddie charged in, but his shoulder caught the ring post. Ryan dared Alisha to hit him, but she refused to do so. Eddie then delivered a chop to his opponent.

Ryan raked the eyes of Eddie and went for a DDT, but he was countered into a standing Tiger Bomb. Eddie then nailed Ryan with the Boston Knee Party for the victory.

Winner: Eddie Edwards

No. 1 Contender Match for TNA Knockouts Championship Booked

Gia Miller caught up with Indi Hartwell, who was disappointed in Dani Luna for her actions last week. Santino Marella approached Hartwell and informed her that she would face Jodi Threat in a No. 1 contender match for the TNA Knockouts Championship next week. Luna then walked in and made a case to be added to the match, and Hartwell suggested that she be added. Santino obliged.

Eric Young Takes Out Joe Hendry

Eric Young was backstage and responded to those who think he’s confused. He said a cleanse is coming. The camera then panned to Joe Hendry, who was knocked out.

Tasha Steelz w/The Great Hands vs. Mara Sade

Tasha Steelz landed an arm drag, but Mara Sade returned the favor with one of her own. Sade landed a knee to the back of the head before Jason Hotch tripped her. This allowed Steelz to connect with a dropkick.

Sade got out of a camel clutch and landed a European uppercut. Sade went high-risk and landed a missile dropkick. Steelz then got hit with an enzuigiri. The Great Hands climbed on the apron to distract Sade, allowing Steelz to slam her opponent to the mat.

Steelz went for a cutter, but she was countered with a backdrop. Sade landed Finish Her, but John Skyler got on the apron. Hotch then got involved yet again. Sade took out Skyler with a suicide dive. Agent Zero stared Sade down, allowing Steelz to hit a cutter in the ring for the win.

Winner: Tasha Steelz

After the match, The Great Hands restrained Sade. Agent Zero then entered the ring and took her out with a clothesline. The Hardys then made their way out and brawled with The Great Hands. Matt and Jeff Hardy clotheslined Agent Zero out of the ring.

The Hardys vs. Leon Slater and Cedric Alexander

Jeff Hardy and Cedric Alexander got the main event started. Jeff was popped with a back elbow. Leon Slater was tagged in, and the two tied up. Slater landed a reverse enzuigiri. Jeff avoided a springboard move with a side Russian leg sweep. Matt was tagged in and delivered a fist drop.

Slater was hit with an elbow drop from the middle rope. Matt favored his knee on the landing, but he managed to hit a Twist of Fate. Jeff then attempted the Swanton Bomb, but Alexander pulled Slater out of the ring. Alexander then made the tag and kept Jeff grounded with a body lock. He dropkicked Jeff right on the neck. Slater was tagged in, and he stomped on the midsection of Jeff. Matt sent both Alexander and Slater crashing into each turnbuckle in the corner.

Matt then landed a flying elbow drop on Alexander. He then shoved Alexander into Slater, who was attempting to dive off the top turnbuckle. The Hardys landed the Plot Twist, but Slater disrupted the pin with a splash. Slater missed the Swanton 450 on Jeff. The Hardys went for Plot Twist, but Slater countered by hitting Matt with Twist of Slate. Jeff moved out of the way of the Swanton 450, but Alexander got in a blind tag. Alexander hit a flatliner on Jeff, who grabbed the bottom rope. Jeff fought out of a Lumbar Check.

Alexander was dropped by a Twist of Fate from Matt. Jeff then landed the Swanton Bomb for the win. Both teams embraced when the match ended.

Winners: The Hardys

Trick Williams’ Lawyer Taken Out

Trick Williams entered the ring with his lawyer in the closing segment of “iMPACT.” Williams said his lawyer, Michael O’Shea, was out to claim TNA Wrestling had unfit working conditions. Santino Marella made his way out and entered the ring.

Santino said that Williams will defend the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory. O’Shea then interrupted before Santino pulled out the cobra and knocked him out. The show ended with Williams storming out of the arena.
