With TNA Sacrifice just 24 hours away, the battle lines are drawn, and the war for dominance in the promotion continues. Here is all you need to know about the March 13th episode of TNA iMPACT!
TNA made their presence felt at NXT Roadblock in New York City. It was a clash of titans as X-Division Champion Moose challenged Oba Femi for the NXT Championship – the Face of TNA versus the Ruler of NXT. Both men put their strength on display during an epic, hard-hitting showdown.
Despite a valiant effort, which included putting Femi through a table at ringside, Moose couldn’t dethrone the champ. When the dust finally settled, Femi reigned supreme after the Fall from Grace.
The night started with The Hardys putting the TNA World Tag Team Championship on the line against the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions, Fraxiom. This adrenaline-pumping contest saw both teams take each other to the limit to prove who’s the best tag team in the world today. The end came when Axiom inadvertently struck his partner, leading to Jeff Hardy capitalizing with the Twist of Fate on Frazer to win.

The reigning TNA World Champion Joe Hendry is set to put his gold on the line just one night before heading into war inside the Steel Cage at Sacrifice. With challengers lining up, Hendry faces an unknown opponent in what could be a dangerous night for the champion. Will Hendry enter Sacrifice still holding the richest prize in TNA?
The war between Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich and Cora Jade reaches a boiling point as they collide in tag team action ahead of their title match at Sacrifice. Slamovich teams up with the rising star Léi Yǐng Lee, while Jade has found an unlikely ally in Tessa Blanchard, who has her own issues with Lee. Will the champion and her partner stand tall, or will Jade and Blanchard show they are a dangerous duo?
The stakes are massive in this clash, as Eddie Edwards takes on Leon Slater with the winning team earning the man advantage for the 10-Man Steel Cage Match at Sacrifice. Edwards, representing The System, has been at the forefront of their campaign to take over TNA.
Meanwhile, Slater looks to give his team, including TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys, a crucial edge heading into battle. Which team will gain the upper hand heading into Sacrifice?
With their highly personal match set for Sacrifice, Mustafa Ali and Mike Santana will engage in a special Summit on TNA iMPACT! Ali has made Santana’s life miserable for weeks, including forcing him to take a drug test at Ali’s request.
Santana, meanwhile, has fought back at every turn. What will happen when these two come face to face in the iMPACT Zone?
NXT’s Wes Lee, flanked by Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe, will step into the iMPACT! Zone against one of TNA’s most exciting high-flyers, Laredo Kid. Lee has been at odds with Ace Austin and The Rascalz, but Thursday on iMPACT!, his focus is on picking up a win before his six-man tag at Sacrifice. Can Laredo Kid pull off an upset, or will Lee show why he’s one of NXT’s finest?
After suffering a tough loss last week, Xia Brookside is back in action, but she faces an ominous challenge in Rosemary. The Demon Assassin has been lurking in the shadows, watching the Knockouts division closely. Will Rosemary unleash chaos, or can Brookside find a way to earn a big win?
The System’s rising force, JDC, steps into action against Cody Deaner, a veteran looking to prove he can still hang with the best in TNA. JDC has been gaining momentum, but Deaner is known for his unpredictable, scrappy style. Can Deaner pull off an upset, or will JDC continue his rise under The System’s banner?
Tessa Blanchard will team up with NXT’s Cora Jade against TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich and Lei Ying Lee. Another prelude to not one but two Sacrifice matches. Even if Masha Slamovich faces Cora Jade at Sacrifice, we know Tessa Blanchard already has her eyes set on the TNA Knockouts title.
Blanchard will compete against Lee at Sacrifice. So, I expect this tag match to be “the-first-to-betray-his-partner match.”
Leon Slater and Eddie Edwards will represent their “team” to get the advantage at Sacrifice. I’m not going to say the dice are loaded, but I think that very much. With all the respect I have for Leon Slater, who is so damn good and talented, the advantage will end up in The System’s camp.
Santana and Mustafa Ali will engage in a special summit. Let’s hope it doesn’t have a “pee” spirit. They have a match at Sacrifice, and I can only imagine Ali pushing on Santana’s alcoholic past to infuriate Mike.
To me, that’s bad, not from Ali, but from the company. Sobriety is a daily fight against a disease called alcohol abuse. And Mike Santana deserved to be talked about for everything else in his career, but not that bad moment of his life.
.@MustafaAli_X continues his disrespectful crusade against @Santana_Proud. https://t.co/SXrTp067rl

Joe Hendry’s title defence, for me, may or may not have an influence on the Cage match at Sacrifice. Who will he defend against? I easily imagine Ryan Nemeth taking the chance before his brother comes back the day after.
May the company air the Hammerstone comeback/goodbye match that was taped? Whatever happens, the fact that he wins or not is not going to change what will happen in the cage at Sacrifice. It will be pure hell…
Last week, I was asking myself and you all who Rosemary was targeting when she was watching the Savannah Evans vs Xia Brookside match from the rafters. We have an answer.
I don’t exactly know what’s behind that match, what Rosemary wants. It’s a story I will probably tell you about in the coming weeks.
JDC will face Cody Deaner. Of course, JDC will take part in the main event of Sacrifice. Cody Deaner is one of my favourite wrestlers and human beings on the planet.
I’m just so happy to be able to write back about him. Then, JDC is a member of “The System.” That says a lot about the match fate.
We’ll see if the Nygma’s crystal ball was right…
