This week is a huge one for TNA Wrestling. On Thursday night, the weekly TNA iMPACT!. Under Siege follows on Friday night (preview coming soon).
On Saturday night, a taping session. And on Sunday night, for the first time ever, aside from the Border Brawl event, the TNA World Championship will be defended at a WWE NXT event, Battleground.
Joe Hendry and Elijah will face Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian at Under Siege. Before their epic NXT Battleground showdown, 2 days after Under Siege, Joe Hendry performed in concert on WWE NXT.
fired back after Trick Williams insulted him earlier during his rap performance. The concert ended in physicality when Williams confronted Hendry, but was met with a guitar shot and a Standing Ovation.
Last night, a guitar died on Trick Williams’s feet. Will another one die at Under Siege? Follow the Nygma’s crystal ball.
Moose and Brian Myers join forces for an Under Siege preview tag match against Joe Hendry and Elijah while Trick Williams watches from the commentary table. With Joe Hendry and Elijah set to face Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian at Under Siege, both sides aim to send a statement.
After NXT’s Robert Stone overruled Santino Marella’s call to restart last week’s Knockouts tag match, the two will settle the score in an official in-ring debate. Tessa Blanchard will back Stone, while her Under Siege opponent, Arianna Grace, supports Santino Marella. Sparks are guaranteed to fly.
Since his loss to Mike Santana at Rebellion, Mustafa Ali has spiraled. Last week on iMPACT!, he attacked The Rascalz before Ace Austin made the save. With ORDER 4 lurking ringside, Ali looks to shake it off, but Austin is more than ready to settle the score.
Since taking over the faction, Eric Young has armed the Northern Armory with ruthless intent. This Thursday, they test themselves against the high-flying Aztec Warriors in tag-team action. Eddie Edwards, accompanied by Alisha Edwards, steps into the ring to send a warning to Deaner before their showdown.
On last week’s FIR$T CLA$$ PENTHOU$E!, A.J. Francis and KC Navarro insulted special guest O’Shea Jackson Jr., prompting Mike Santana to storm the set. This Thursday, Santana teams with Sami Callihan to settle the score in tag-match action.
If Dani Luna & Jody Threat can’t capture the Knockouts World Championship from Ash & Heather at Under Siege, Spitfire will disband. This Thursday, Luna and Threat look to build momentum ahead of their title opportunity.
Last week, you all understood that snapping in a preview can lead to frustration in a review. I realized that two weeks after Under Siege, there will be Against All Odds. This means some storylines will last two more weeks, while some will end up on Friday.
The Spitfire/Elegance war is set to find an end on Friday. Whoever Jody Threat and Dani Luna face, the Elegances will attack them before, during, or after the match. The major question here is Maggie Lee.
Is she Elegance or Spitfire? Nygma says: Elegance can be an inner quality.
Except for Eddie Edwards, The System has been kept away from Under Siege, so far. Robert Stone chose Moose and Brian Myers to face TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and Elijah before the Under Siege tag-team match. With Trick Williams on commentary, that will end up in a brawl. Nygma says: May a guitar rest in peace.
Talking about Eddie Edwards, his opponent of the night is not the question. The way Cody Deaner will save his career is the one to ask. I adore both Edwards and Deaner.
Nygma asks herself who will make a miracle on Friday night by helping Deaner. He can’t leave TNA Wrestling, mostly this way.
Mike Santana and Sami Callihan are making quite an unusual team. As long as they shut AJ Francis up, Nygma says: Good teams are made of this.
Last week, Mustafa Ali attacked The Rascalz, and Ace Austin made the save. Expect this week, Order 4 to attack Austin, and The Rascalz to make the save. Nygma says: 6-Man match at Against All Odds.
Milan Miracle vs Mr. Stone, the duel. Sheriff vs Sheriff, word guns in their hands. Remember, there can only be one sheriff in town.
And Arianna Grace and Tessa Blanchard won’t be the nice saloon’s girls and dance for the guys. Girls will wrestle, men will argue. Nygma says: I believe in miracles.
Travis Williams and Judas Icarus are now led by a weakened Eric Young. You don’t get out of a Dog Collar match the same man. Then, knowing Eric Young, the blood spilled in that match may have angered him more, too.
Which impact will it have on his Northern Armory’s young guns? Nygma says: Don’t even try to enter Eric Young’s mind.
I’ll see you on Friday for “After The Bell,” and everything about Under Siege and Border Brawl. May the Nygma be with you.
