Since the beginning of the year, the TNA week has begun on Tuesday. Thanks to the WWE/TNA partnership, some things related to TNA Wrestling happen on Tuesday, and sometimes, the TNA iMPACT preview changes the way it does!

Last night, Elijah made his comeback to WWE when he appeared in the 25-man Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender for the NXT Championship at WWE Battleground. Zachary Wentz also took part in it. TNA World Champion Joe Hendry appeared too, costing Trick Williams to become #1 contender the same way Williams cost him, Hank, and Tank the match against DarkState.

After that twist of events, NXT General Manager Ava made a huge announcement. For the first time ever, the TNA World Championship will be defended on a WWE PLE as Joe Hendry will put his title on the line against Trick Williams, on May 25 at NXT Battleground. That may explain why Hendry is not defending at TNA Under Siege on May 23.

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

Trick Williams will kick off this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT following his shocking appearance on WWE NXT and growing tensions with TNA World Champion Joe Hendry. With their collision course set for WWE Battleground and a tag team showdown looming at Under Siege, what will Williams have to say as he steps into the iMPACT! Zone?

At Rebellion, Steve Maclin narrowly defeated Eric Young, but the post-match beatdown from The Northern Armory made it clear: this isn’t over. After being ambushed again last week, Maclin demanded the violence be settled once and for all.

Now, by his own request, this championship rematch will be contested as a Dog Collar Match. There will be no escape, no interference—just two men chained together in a fight for the TNA International Championship.

After losing the TNA World Tag Team Titles under controversial circumstances at Rebellion and being outsmarted again by The Nemeths last week, Matt and Jeff Hardy are ready to speak out.

Former champion turned Deputy Director of Authority, Victoria Crawford, steps back into the ring for the first time as a TNA Knockout. With a title shot against Masha Slamovich looming at Under Siege, every move matters.

After losing a brutal Falls Count Anywhere match at Rebellion against Mike Santana, Mustafa Ali looks to rebound on iMPACT! But Trey Miguel isn’t here to play gatekeeper. With The Order 4 watching his back, Ali is looking to reassert dominance.

What began at Countdown to Rebellion has made its way to the iMPACT! Zone! Rosemary and Lei Ying Lee collide on TNA iMPACT in a battle for bragging rights in the Knockouts Division.

After interfering in Mike Santana’s war with Mustafa Ali at Rebellion, The Great Hands look to shift focus by taking on the high-flying Aztec Warriors.

The Nygma’s View

I tend to think the true Fallout for Rebellion is happening this week. At least, a part of it.

NXT’s Trick Williams will kick off the show. Will he be in the iMPACT! Zone? I don’t know, but as he is about to face Joe Hendry twice in the matter of 3 days at the end of May, he will have some things to say.

When it comes to The Hardys, we can all suspect a rematch request against Nic and Ryan Nemeth. Sadly, Nygma tells you it won’t happen at Under Siege.

Jeff Hardy’s past makes him unable to go to Canada, where the PLE will take place. But I’m sure Santino Marella will make a Milan Miracle, as he is used to doing.

I was saying the war between Steve Maclin and Eric Young would end badly. I was predicting a Full Metal Mayhem, but Maclin chose the Dog Collar Match. In TNA Wrestling’s history, it has happened only 5 times (watch them all here) over the last 23 years.

This feud deserves a violent end. The brutality of the match fits the devilishness of what Eric Young had done to Steve Maclin. All Nygma knows is that there can only be one survivor.

Mustafa Ali looked like a zombie last week. John Skyler said that Ali hasn’t been the same since losing to Mike Santana at Rebellion. Now, “not being the same” has 2 senses in the Nygma language: being better or worse.

So Puppy Ali or Dirty Ali? Nygma says Dirty.

Victoria Crawford is back, thanks to Mr Robert Stone. Who will be foxy enough to compete against her? One thing is sure: it won’t be Savannah Evans who is not a TNA Knockout anymore.

The Great Hands will face Aztec Warriors. After the torture Santana made live to John Skyler, the Luchadores have a weak point to work on.

Rosemary will face Lei Ying Lee. There’s no doubt in Nygma’s mind that Xia Brookside will get involved.

I hope the episode will be “sexier” than its preview. I’ll see you on Friday for  “After The Bell.” May the Nygma be with you.
