TNA iMPACT! Preview (6/5/25): Go-Home Show, Part. 2
TNA Wrestling

Mike Santana vowed to save TNA Wrestling when he challenged Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship on WWE NXT, but he wasn’t expecting this. Elijah on TNA iMPACT had a front-row seat as he scouted the competition for his TNA World Title opportunity this Friday at Against All Odds.

With the referee’s attention diverted by Elijah, A.J. Francis and KC Navarro of FIR$T CLA$$ gained a measure of revenge on Santana when they attacked him at the ringside. Williams capitalized on the situation, pinning Santana with the Trick Shot to retain the TNA World Championship.

Please don’t ask me why I knew it, because I guessed it last week, it’s just Nygma’s magic. With Williams still the Champion, you won’t know why Trick-NA makes Nygma laugh (I said it to some TNA officials who are laughing now as much as I can).

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

Tag Team turmoil erupts in the iMPACT Zone as Matt Hardy, Leon Slater & Mike Santana collide with TNA World Tag Team Champions Nic and Ryan Nemeth, alongside “King Of TNA” Frankie Kazarian. Can the trio derail the Nemeths’ momentum before Against All Odds?

Joe Hendry steps back into the iMPACT! Zone, to deliver his first words since losing the TNA World Title to NXT’s Trick Williams. Just one night before his singles clash with Frankie Kazarian at Against All Odds, what’s on the mind of TNA’s Viral Sensation?

This Thursday, Elijah speaks on his TNA World Championship showdown against NXT’s Trick Williams at Against All Odds. Following his confrontation with Trick this past Tuesday on WWE NXT, what will Elijah have to say?

After months of mind games and brutal confrontations, Xia Brookside finally snapped at Rosemary. Now these two collide inside the legendary no-rules Monsters Ball match. Weapons, chaos, and sheer brutality await.

Tasha Steelz enters with her loyal enforcers and fellow Order 4 members, The Great Hands, to take on TNA newcomer Indi Hartwell. Will The Great Hands tip the odds in Tasha’s favor, or can Hartwell continue her climb to the top of the Knockouts Division?

Eric Young has conquered every corner of TNA Wrestling, including the X-Division Title. After pinning Moose at Under Siege, Young has earned another shot at the legendary championship. Can Moose fend off the World Class Maniac’s assault, or will Eric Young reclaim gold once again?

After crashing last week’s Elegance Product Reveal, Harley Hudson & Myla Grace have earned themselves a date with the “Elegant” duo of Heather & M By Elegance. Expect champagne to fly and egos to collide in this Knockouts tag match.

The Nygma’s View

Three Knockouts matches are taking place this week, which is fantastic. The first is a Monster’s Ball, one of my favourite matches in TNA. If Rosemary excels with mind games, Xia Brookside is an anger volcano about to erupt. If Rosemary’s design is to see Xia become a bad girl, she is about to succeed if Brookside wins.

Harley Hudson and Myla Grace make their iMPACT debut against M and Heather by Elegance. The newly signed Knockouts have everything to make a statement, mostly against one-half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champions. A Nygma’s advice to Grace and Hudson: Make them eat cake (when it comes to breaking a champagne bottle on their heads, I’m French, so no).

Tasha Steelz faces Indi Hartwell. Steelz is an experienced Knockout and a former multi-time Champion. If John Skyler and Jason Hotch are good with her, that’s not the case with Mustafa Ali. Nygma says again: Women deserve more than shoving and disrespect.

Elijah has something to say, probably about Trick Williams and the TNA World Championship match. Joe Hendry also has something to say, probably on his match against Frankie Kazarian. For sure, the two will find a way to shut up or make their opponents shut up at Against All Odds. Nygma says: RIP Guitar(s).

Eric Young pinned Moose at Under Siege in the impromptu 6-Man Match. That’s the reason why he deserved this chance at the TNA X-Division Championship. JDC will be by Moose’s side. Judas Icarus and Travis Williams will be by Young’s side. That will be a fabulous match. Then, who will profit from the interfering crime?

The TNA World Tag Team Champions, Nic and Ryan Nemeth, will team up with Frankie Kazarian against The Hardys and Leon Slater. On paper, that sounds so great, really a great match to watch. Yet, that could end up a mess. The Nemeths are troublemakers, Kazarian can be very selfish, and we’ll see if Leon Slater is truly a member of the Hardy “family.”

I come back tomorrow with an Against All Odds preview. I’ll see you on Friday for  TNA iMPACT “After The Bell.” And on Saturday, with the Against All Odds review. Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
