• Santino Marella, the TNA Director of Authority, arrives to the ring. He says there's going to be a lot of new expectations and new pressure, but the roster is ready for it. He says he's been distracted by his daughter, Arianna Grace, turning her back on him. He says he and the Board had to make a decision to introduce someone new to the company. Daria Rae, the former Sonya Deville, appears and comes to the ring as the new authority. She says that the last thing TNA needs now is professionalism and structure, not Marella's antics. She tells him she's going to do a way better job than he's ever done. She says she's signed a new Knockout to TNA and Elayna Black comes out to the crowd.
• Mike Santana is backstage with AJ Styles, who tells him he's known Frankie Kazarian for 20 years, and while he never thought he'd say this, he wants him to beat him well. Styles tells Santana that he held down TNA for as long as he could, and now it's Santana's turn. He stands up, hugs him, and tells him he will.
• TNA Knockouts Champion Lei Ying Lee comes to the ring with Marella, who announces an open challenge for the title. NXT's Sol Ruca and Zaria appear. Ruca says she couldn't help but answer the challenge and while she wanted to make history, Zaria should be the one to answer the challenge. Zaria takes the contract from Marella and signed it, making it official.
