TNA held its “Victory Road” 2025 event inside the Edmonton Expo Centre on Friday. TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater took center stage to put his gold at stake against Myron Reed. TNA International Champion Steve Maclin put his title on the line against Frankie Kazarian.
Agent Zero and Brian Myers got things started. Zero landed a release suplex on Myers. The Great Hands double-teamed Eddie Edwards and stomped him low when the referee was distracted. A returning JDC was tagged in, and he landed a falcon arrow on Jason Hotch.
JDC later hit Down and Dirty to score the win for his faction.
Winners: The System
TNA president Carlos Silva and Santino Marella were in the ring and welcomed Ash by Elegance. Ash announced that she is no longer able to perform and must relinquish the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
Marella then announced a battle royal with the final two women receiving a shot at the vacant TNA Knockouts World Championship later in the night.

The IInspiration scored the first elimination. Dani Luna then eliminated her former tag team partner, Jodi Threat. Brookside tried dragging Luna out of the ring with a hurricanrana, but she was tossed over the top rope.
Luna was eliminated by Lei Ying Lee and the rest of the field. “NXT” star Kelani Jordan and Lei Ying Lee were the final two women after eliminating The IInspiration and The Elegance Brand.

Gia Miller caught up with Indi Hartwell, who will officiate Kelani Jordan vs. Lei Ying Lee. Hartwell vowed to call it down the middle, but she also admitted she will be scouting the winner ahead of “Bound For Glory.”
Matt Cardona and Ryan Nemeth got the match started. The Hometown Man then dropped a double axe handle on Ryan’s arm. Nic Nemeth was tagged in, but he ate a punch combination. He went high-risk, but Ryan got away with illegal contact. This allowed Nic to hit a dropkick before Ryan tagged back in.
Cardona and Nic were eventually in. Cardona landed the Unprettier, but Cardona kicked out. Nic countered Radio Silence, but Cardona eventually caught him. Ryan tagged in and delivered a big DDT for a near fall. The Hometown Man was back in, and he took out The Nemeths with a crossbody.
The Nemeths avoided Hometown Slice and delivered a Hart Attack. Ryan went for a sharpshooter, but he was distracted when Cardona pulled Nic out of the ring. The Hometown Man stole the victory with a small package.

After the match, Ryan ambushed Cardona. Nic then landed Danger Zone on The Hometown Man. The Nemeths then unmasked Cody Deaner.
Mike Santana chopped Ridge Holland outside of the ring. Holland rammed Santana into the ring apron. Santana responded by sending Holland crashing into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Holland landed a driver for a two-count.
Santana looked to get something going, but he ran into a powerslam. Finally, Santana gained some momentum with a back body drop. He then landed a chop in the corner before landing a kick. Santana went for the Rolling Buck Fifty but settled for the Death Valley Driver.
Holland got caught in the Rolling Buck Fifty, but he got the shoulder up. Santana delivered a cannonball and looked for a superplex. While Santana hit it, he went for Three Amigos, and Holland countered with an Oklahoma Slam. Santana and Holland traded counters, but it ended with Spin The Block to end the match.
Winner: Mike Santana
After the match, Trick Williams attempted to ambush Santana. While Santana initially thwarted the attempt, Holland grabbed a hold of his leg. This allowed Williams to nail Santana with the TNA World Championship.
TNA’s doctor was checking on Matt Hardy after he was driven through a table by AJ Francis on the Victory Road Countdown show. Hardy was informed that he was cleared to compete against Francis.

Mustafa Ali played mind games early on by leaving the ring. Moose followed him and landed a pump kick. Moose perched Ali on the top rope and dropkicked him out of the ring. Moose tried powerbombing Ali onto the ring steps, but he ate a superkick. Ali then used the steps for leverage to land a tornado DDT.
Back in the ring, Ali scored a rolling neckbreaker for a near fall. Ali avoided Go to Hell and landed a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Ali went for the 450 splash, but Moose had other plans and landed a uranage.
Moose looked to scale the top rope, but Ali cut him off. Ali went for a springboard, but Moose caught him in Go to Hell for a two-count. Ali recovered and delivered kicks to the chest of his opponent.
Ali landed a superkick, but he was taken out with a spear. Moose made the pin attempt, but Ali’s foot was on the bottom rope. Moose charged at Ali outside of the ring, but he crashed onto the ring steps off a back body drop. Ali hit a 450 splash, but Moose carried Ali for the kickout.
Ali went for a springboard cutter, but he ate a headbutt in midair. Moose set up for a spear, but Ali countered with a pin attempt. Ali kicked out of a powerbomb. Ali’s entrance dancers surrounded the ring and distracted the referee. One of the dancers, who ended up being Tasha Steelz, hit Moose with a low blow. Alli took advantage with a 450 splash for the win.

Winner: Mustafa Ali
Before the match started, Eric Young claimed Joe Hendry couldn’t show up for the match. The TNA commentary team pointed out that Hendry was attacked by someone prior to the event. Young said this is considered to be a cleansing and vowed that Hendry is gone from TNA forever.
Hendry’s music hit to the surprise of Young. An injured Hendry made his way out and charged the ring. Hendry went on the attack and tossed Young out of the ring. Hendry then sent his opponent into the ring post.
Young gained steam and targeted the neck of Hendry. Hendry fought out of a headlock momentarily. Hendry countered a bearhug attempt with a vertical suplex. Hendry went for a superplex, but Young bit him and landed an elbow drop for a two-count.
Young landed a piledriver, but Hendry managed to get his shoulder up. Young threatened to hit the referee but settled for a low blow on Hendry when the referee wasn’t looking. Young then put two chairs in the ring. The Northern Armory ran in and allowed Hendry to hit Standing Ovation onto one of the chairs for the win.

Before the match started, Matt Hardy informed AJ Francis that their match was now a tables match. Francis tried firing off first, but Hardy clotheslined him out of the ring and sent him crashing into the ring steps. Hardy was selling his injuries from the countdown show.
Francis put one of the tables back under the apron. Francis’ right hand cut off Hardy’s dive from the ring steps. Francis landed Tennessee Whiskey. Hardy regained momentum and put a table in the ring. Francis landed a boot to the chest of Hardy.
Francis then placed the table in a corner. He charged the corner but crashed into the table. The match wasn’t over, as Hardy didn’t physically put his opponent through it. Hardy struck Francis in the back with a chair. He then climbed on the chair and landed an avalanche Side Effect.
Hardy was setting up a table, but Francis hit him with a spear. Francis grabbed one half of the TNA World Tag Team Championships and tried to hit Hardy with it. Francis was planted with a Twist of Fate. Outside of the ring, Hardy cracked Francis with the title. With Francis lying on a table, Hardy landed a leg drop through the table for the win.

Special guest referee Indi Hartwell checked both competitors before making the match official. Kelani Jordan was tripped by Lei Ying Lee, who connected with a basement dropkick. Jordan went for a baseball slide, but Lee kicked out.
Lee extended her hand and Jordan obliged. Both Jordan and Lee almost collided with Hartwell. Jordan landed a Northern Lights Suplex. She then applied a single-leg Boston crab.
Jordan was perched on the top rope, and Lee landed a hurricanrana. Lee landed a thrust kick that dropped Jordan. She scored another basement dropkick, but she didn’t secure a three-count. Jordan landed a side kick and charged the corner, but Lee planted her with a Blue Thunder Bomb.
Jordan leaped off the apron and attempted a hurricanrana, but was unable to complete the move. Back in the ring, Jordan landed a back elbow. Lee countered a kick with a crossface. Jordan freed herself with a pin attempt. She then drove Lee to the canvas face-first. Jordan hit the frog splash for a near fall.
Jordan went for One of a Kind, but she accidentally took out Hartwell. Lee landed Thunder Struck, but there was no referee to count. Hartwell struggled to make the count, allowing Jordan to kick out. Jordan and Lee exchanged pin attempts before Jordan hit a Stunner, followed by One of a Kind for the win.
Winner and new TNA Knockouts World Champion: Kelani Jordan
Steve Maclin got in an arm hold early in the match. Frankie Kazarian countered with a headlock. Maclin landed a backbreaker on the challenger. Maclin went for a suicide dive, but Kazarian avoided it. Maclin suffered a busted mouth.
Kazarian ran into a uranage. Maclin went for the Olympic Slam, but Kazarian thwarted it. The champion landed a knee drop into a clothesline combination. Maclin caught Kazarian in a Lou Thesz Press. Maclin’s second attempt at the Olympic Slam was successful.
Kazarian went for the chicken wing, but he ate a busaiku knee. Maclin then scored a diving headbutt. Maclin went for Caught in the Crosshairs, but Kazarian reversed it with a cutter. Maclin and Kazarian fought at the top rope. The champion delivered a superplex before Kazarian rolled out of the ring.
Kazarian landed a slingshot DDT for a near fall. Maclin headbutted Kazarian off the top turnbuckle. The champion went for another headbutt, but he missed this time. Kazarian locked in the chicken wing. Maclin got out of it and landed a suicide dive.
Maclin went for Caught in the Crosshairs, but El Mesias from AAA appeared. Maclin went after Mesias, which allowed Kazarian to land a low blow, followed by a slingshot cutter for the win.

Winner and new TNA International Champion: Frankie Kazarian
Both men fought for positioning early on. Leon Slater got hit with a leg drop to the back of the head. Myron Reed played some mind games with a taunt. Slater fired off strikes in response. Reed landed a springboard dropkick, followed by a slingshot codebreaker. Reed went for a springboard, but Slater landed a single-leg dropkick and then a plancha.
Reed was hit with a kick upstairs, but he landed a hurricanrana for a near-fall. Slater was turned inside out by a kick. The champion and challenger countered a series of strikes before Reed bounced Slater off the top rope and launched him.
Slater caught Reed in Utopia, but it wasn’t enough to score the win. Reed launched himself at the champion, but he got popped with a knee. Slater landed Big Play Slater near the timekeeper’s table. Slater connected with a leg lariat, but Reed landed the classic Bret Hart suplex to the outside with a Slumdog Millionaire twist.
Reed then caught Slater with Flame On. The challenger landed a 450 springboard for a close two-count. Reed had Slater perched on the top turnbuckle, and he went for a superplex, but Slater countered with a twisting suplex. Slater hit the Swanton 450 for the win.

Santino Marella made his way out after the match and made an announcement. It will be Leon Slater vs. Je’Von Evans for the TNA X Division Championship at “Bound for Glory.” Evans had a video message for Slater to accept the matchup.
