Trish Stratus appearance announced for WWE SmackDown

Trish Stratus will be on WWE SmackDown this week. On Wednesday, the Hall of Famer announced via social media that she will be at Friday’s show in her hometown of Toronto. Stratus is scheduled to team with Tiffany Stratton on Saturday at Elimination Chamber, facing Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. Last Friday, Stratton defeated LeRae on SmackDown but was attacked by Jax afterward, leading to Stratus making the save. Other than her appearance in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble earlier this month, Stratus hasn’t wrestled since Payback 2023, where she lost to Becky Lynch in a steel cage match. Only one match is official for Friday’s SmackDown so far. Shinsuke Nakamura will defend the United States Championship against LA Knight on the show.
