Two Top WWE Babyfaces That Need to Swap Brands ASAP (And Why)

Recently, WWE has freshened up its faces by moving Sami Zayn to SmackDown and LA Knight to RAW. This trade benefited both stars as they are now pursuing titles. Yes, WWE should, in fact, do a hard draft after WrestleMania 42 and not move as many stars as they have since last year’s draft. Although that’s the case, they might well make another trade. Another trade of babyfaces would bring more spice to the shows, as it gives the heels more talent to feud with. Here are two wrestlers who would benefit from a trade.

Jey Uso to SmackDown

With almost all of the original Bloodline members all on SmackDown, it is only a matter of time before Jey moves to the blue brand. On RAW, Jey is on a quest to win back the World Heavyweight Championship he gained at WrestleMania. What comes to mind is what’s next for him if things don’t go as planned. Maybe Jey goes for Dominik’s Intercontinental Title. If that’s not the case, then there’s a story waiting for him on SmackDown.

A move for Jey could elevate a younger talent such as his brother, Solo Sikoa. On SmackDown, a new story involving Solo Sikoa and his MFT members can break out. With Sami Zayn going to SmackDown, he is likely to win the WWE United States title from Sikoa. This could lead to Sikoa blaming his MFT members for the loss, leading to the group imploding. The implosion in storyline can bring Tama Tonga back in the mix by aligning with MFT to turn on Solo.

Sikoa will no longer have one to come to for help, but his family. He would reunite with Jimmy Uso, Jacob Fatu, and Jey Uso. Not only would this reunite The Usos, but it would also bring The Bloodline together.

Another story that’s waiting for Jey on SmackDown is Drew McIntyre. Earlier this year, McIntyre wanted to take down any Bloodline members. WWE can easily resume that program, as it was put on hold for quite some time.

Randy Orton to RAW

Randy Orton would be a great fit for the RAW roster. Orton has done all he can on SmackDown. He may have a feud with Cody Rhodes for the WWE Title in contention, but the timing is not right at the moment. A trade to RAW would shake up the red brand a whole lot more with their lineup of heels.

With World Champion Seth Rollins running roughshod, Orton could be another challenger for Rollins. Fans will be intrigued to see Orton work with someone destructive, such as Rollins’ companions, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

What also could wait for Orton on RAW is Logan Paul, who already has history dating back to last year and this past SummerSlam. With both always involved in multi-person matches, a one-on-one bout hasn’t occurred yet.

Maybe Orton goes on a different route. He can do so by feuding with Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental title. Orton hasn’t held that belt in over 20 years, so a possible program between the veteran and a future star in Dominik could be new.
