Cody Rhodes‘ first challenger will be determined on WWE SmackDown over the next two weeks.
In a tweet, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced how Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes’challenger will be determined. The April 12 episode of SmackDown will feature two Triple Threat matches. AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, and AJ Styles will face off. In another Triple Threat, Bobby Lashley will clash with LA Knight and Santos Escobar.
The winners of these matches will face off in a singles match on the April 19 episode of SmackDown. The victor will then go on to face Rhodes, whom Aldis referred to as the WWE Champion.
