Underground match set for next week's WWE NXT

The return of NXT Underground is set for the last NXT of 2023. Dijak and Eddy Thorpe will meet in the no ropes match next Tuesday. Thorpe appeared via vignette on Tuesday’s show, saying what he has gone through has been heart wrenching for his family. After mentioning their last match ended with the top rope breaking, Thorpe challenged Dijak to the NXT Underground match. Dijak agreed to the match later, saying that the last NXT of 2023 will be Thorpe’s last match ever. A match for the NXT Heritage Cup will take place next week between Josh Briggs and Noam Dar. In a segment backstage, Jensen offered to be in Briggs’ corner, saying he knew Meta-Four would be in Dar’s corner. Briggs rejected Jensen’s offer, saying he needed to do this on his own. Cora Jade will meet Karmen Petrovic after Jade reclaimed her locker backstage, which had been given to Petrovic. When Petrovic appeared, she was unhappy to see the contents of her locker on the floor. The Men’s Breakout Tournament semifinals will also take place. Oba F
