48 hours earlier, Bad Bunny helped the legendary Rey Mysterio defeat Dominik Mysterio in a father-versus-son-match on Sunday night in SoFi Stadium at WrestleMania 39.
Bad Bunny will host WWE’s Backlash event in San Juan, Puerto Rico on May 6. It will be the first WWE premium live event in Puerto Rico in 18 years.
After being attacked on WWE Raw, Bad Bunny could be involved in a tag team match pitting himself and Rey Mysterio against Dominik Mysterio and Priest in May in his home country.
It wouldn’t be the first time Bad Bunny competes inside the WWE ring. The 29-year-old teamed up with Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37, impressing fans with his in-ring performance. He also competed in the 2022 Royal Rumble.
Bad Bunny has openly expressed his love for pro wrestling. The lifelong WWE fan has a song titled “Booker T”, named after the former WWE world champion and Hall of Famer.
