Watch: WWE Hall-Of-Famer Tells Hilarious Story About ‘Threatening To Kill Shawn Michaels And The Entire Kliq’
WWE

During a recent sit down on The Undertaker’s podcast, WWE great Mark Henry revealed a funny story about the time he threatened to kill Shawn Michaels and his pals.

Mark Henry had a very interesting career in the top wrestling company in the world. While he struggled to get over early after a run a power lifer in the Olympics, he eventually gained traction as a member of the Nation of Domination, then became a bit of a fan-favorite as “Sexual Chocolate.” However, he hit a peak later in his career when he introduced his “House of Pain” and turned into a dominant force and world champion in the company.

While he has many memorable memories in the company, he revealed a lowlight early in his career during a recent interview. Henry is known for having a bit of a temper, and it was tested at a point when he was dealing with a leg injury and was turned into a victim of a classic backstage “rib” when his clutches went missing.

The moment enraged the big man so much he claims he threatened to kill WWE legend Shawn Michaels and every member of the Kliq if he did not get them back.

“I got in trouble and they sent me to Canada because I threatened to kill Shawn Michaels and the entire Kliq. I thought it was them that hid [my crutches],” Henry revealed during an appearance on the “Six Feet Under” podcast hosted by fellow Hall-of-Famer The Undertaker.

“I meant that s---. But I found out later on it was Paul Bearer who hid my crutches and I blamed it on Shawn because they came up to me [like], ‘Hey man, they hid your crutches? What happened? And I was like, ‘You too small to be talking s--- to me.'”

Recalling the story led to a rare belly laugh from “The Deadman” which in itself is a shocking visual for long-time fans. The original lineup of the legendary Kliq backstage faction featured Hall-of-Famers Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Triple H , and Sean Waltman.

Paul Bearer is also a Hall-of-Famer, and along with being known as The Undertaker’s long-time manager, he has a history of being a big time prankster during his lengthy career.

AEW Collision Results : Athena Defeats Windsor, Retains ROH Women's Championship In Standout Main Event

Shark Week chomped along on tonight's Collision in Chicago. The show opened with the first TNT Championship defense for Dustin Rhodes as he took on the ROH Pure Champion in a near 20-minute encounter, securing victory via rollup. After the match, Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis approached the ring and made a title challenge for next week's Collision, which will be a special time next Thursday at 8pm EST. Rhodes upped the stakes to add a Chicago Street Fight stipulation to the TNT title match. In an acknowledgement of the recent death of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, Tony Schiavone shared his condolences to Hogan's family from the commentary desk on behalf of AEW. The Bang Bang Gang's Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson advanced to the semifinals of the World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament by defeating Big Bill and Bryan Keith in a fast-paced bout. They will soon face FTR for the chance to move on to the final and hopefully earn the right to challenge the Hurt Syndicate for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Forbidden Door London. Before The Outrunners take on The Young Bucks in a tournament quarterfinal next week on Dynamite, they teamed up with The Conglomeration's Tomohiro Ishii and Hologram to face Shane Taylor Promotions' The Infantry and the Don Callis Family's Hechicero and Lance Archer in a $400,000 8-man tag team match. Ahead of the match, Don Callis propositioned Shane Taylor on behalf of Young Bucks to rough up The Outrunners. Despite the added incentive and interference from other faction members, the heel team took the loss after Paragon's Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong came to help even the odds. Later backstage, O'Reilly wanted to celebrate the win with his former Conglomeration teammates and Roderick Strong but Strong walked away. Anthony Bowens answered Max Caster's open challenge this week, brutalizing his former teammate with a new mean streak. Bowens also looked to be considering an attack on Billy Gunn as well before deciding against it and leaving the ring. The Triangle of Madness, the new trio consisting of Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue, made their in-ring debut with a quick win over enhancement talent. When they began brutalizing their opponents after the match, Queen Aminata ran out to make the save but was also beat down by the Triangle and Megan Bayne who made an appearance. As alliances form, could this mean a women's Blood and Guts is near? Now free of Christian Cage's leadership, ROH World Television Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian scored a decisive win over AR Fox and Angelico. Also on the show, Kris Statlander's fixation on Willow Nightingale continued in a backstage interview with Lexy Nair where she expressed that Willow owes her several thank-yous. The main event ultimately stole the show as Athena successfully defended the ROH Women's World Championship against Alex Windsor with a thunderous O-Face in a very impressive clash, bringing her historic reign to 955 days and counting. Athena and Billie Starkz attacked Windsor after the match, prompting Toni Storm to make the save in an inverse of the scenes from Wednesday's Dynamite. As the ROH Women's World Champion and AEW Women's World Champion continue to be at odds, Athena's guaranteed contract won in the All In Texas women's Casino Gauntlet still looms overhead. When will the Fallen Goddess cash in her shot at the Timeless one? Only time will tell. AEW Collision Full Results Dustin Rhodes def. Yankees manager provides major update on Aaron Judge's injury

New York Yankees star Aaron Judge missed Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with an elbow injury, and the slugger is now headed to the injured list. The Yankees fell 9-4 to the Phillies on Saturday at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y., which marked their third consecutive loss. Judge played in Friday night's 12-5 loss to Philadelphia, but Aaron Boone announced before Saturday's game that Judge was dealing with an "elbow issue" and would sit out. Following his team's latest loss, Boone shared some new information about Judge's injury. Judge has been diagnosed with a flexor strain, but the Yankees believe he can return in less than two weeks. When Judge returns to the lineup, Boone said it will initially be as a designated hitter. Judge is having an outstanding season. He entered Saturday batting .342, which is the best mark in baseball. The reigning American League MVP has 37 home runs, 85 RBI and a 1.160 OPS. The Yankees are now six games behind the AL East-leading Toronto Blue Jays and fighting to remain atop the wild-card race. It goes without saying that they are hopeful Judge will be able to return as soon as possible.

Green Bay Packers 3rd Year Receiver Turning Heads At Training Camp

The Green Bay Packers have one of the youngest rosters in the NFL. A big reason for this is their wide receiver room. For the past three seasons, they have relied on rookies and second-year players to carry the load on offense from a pass-catching perspective. However, that has led to some inconsistent play. Last year, drops were a huge issue, especially for former fifth-round pick Dontayvion Wicks. He was able to get open but would drop the ball in key moments. Wicks is determined to change the narrative and is already turning heads in training camp. Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks Looking Good Wicks was the star of the 2-minute drill during Friday’s training camp practice. He found a hole in the zone and ran the post route. Quarterback Jordan Love saw him immediately and unloaded a long ball. The former Virginia receiver was all alone and caught a 49-yard touchdown pass to end the drill. This was one of the many great plays Wicks made throughout the practice. He was asked about the play after the practice. “I knew I had the post,” Wicks said. “I had a man on me. I released, ran full speed. I knew X was over the top. So I stemmed out a little bit and broke flat across. It was a runaway, and J-Love gave me the ball and I ran under it, and that was all from there.” This is great news for the Green Bay Packers. Drops can often be attributed to a lack of confidence. They can snowball. Once a player drops one pass, it can snowball into more drops. The same can be said about catches. Once a player gets confidence, it can be hard to stop. If Dontayvion Wicks has gotten his confidence, the league should watch out. No Problems Getting Open Wicks had no problems getting open last year. According to ESPN Analytics, he was open on 84% of his routes, thanks to a quick burst off the snap and his ability to find gaps in the zone. However, getting open doesn’t matter if a player can’t bring in the ball. The Green Bay Packers hope this is the start of a new player in 2025. Matthew Golden has also looked good in training camp, and Jayden Reed has vowed to drop fewer passes as well in 2025. If that trio can haul in passes, this offense could be one of the best in the league. Final Thoughts We always have to be cautious about training camp news. It can sometimes point to what will happen in the season, but not always. However, this seems like a step in the right direction for the Green Bay Packers. If Wicks gains confidence now, that should carry over into the season.

Richard Childress addresses idea of suspension for Austin Hill

Richard Childress is standing by his driver after a controversial move in the closing laps of Saturday's Pennzoil 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Austin Hill, driver of the No. 21 Chevy for Richard Childress Racing, appeared to hook Aric Almirola on Lap 91 after Almirola had gotten Hill loose in the previous corner. In recent years, NASCAR has set a precedent that right-hooking a fellow driver at speed is grounds for a suspension, though their failure to do so with Austin Cindric at COTA in March or with Austin Dillon at Richmond in August 2024 drew scrutiny. Unsurprisingly, Childress doesn't think Hill should have to sit out the Aug. 2 race at Iowa Speedway. "Hell no," Childress said when asked if he believed Hill should have to sit for a week. "They didn't do a damn thing to the 2 car (Cindric) when he wrecked Ty (Dillon, Childress' grandson) and admitted to it, drove him in the right-rear and wrecked him at COTA. It's who you are. We're a blue-collar team, they (NASCAR) give us trouble all the time." Hill was given a five-lap penalty for reckless driving and finished the race in 34th.
