Tiffany Stratton had an incredible rookie year in 2025. She started by cashing in her Money in the Bank Briefcase to become WWE Women’s Champion. She even headlined her first WrestleMania, where she successfully retained her title against Charlotte Flair. Other challengers that Stratton also overcame were Nia Jax, Bayley, Trish Stratus, and Jade Cargill.

Eventually, Stratton’s reign came to an end when she lost the title to the current champion, Cargill. Now that Stratton is back from her nearly three-month sabbatical, what is next for the former champion?

Trying To Reclaim The WWE Women’s Championship

Ever since Tiffany Stratton made her return in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, she’s made it known that she wants to regain the WWE Women’s Title. Unfortunately, she came up short as the runner-up to the Women’s Royal Rumble Winner, Liv Morgan. Being the resilient competitor she is, opportunities will always come her way.

Last week on SmackDown, Stratton won a triple threat bout to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match. If Stratton wins, she will earn a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania. Stratton becoming the number one contender could happen since she and Cargill still have unfinished business with each other.

While it may seem nice to see Stratton chase for the title, maybe it’s something WWE is preventing. Stratton can take a break from the title picture to bring new faces into the hunt for gold. Witnessing Cargill defend her championship against Jordynne Grace itself was refreshing, as it showcased other female talent on the SmackDown roster. If Stratton doesn’t win the Elimination Chamber, then what are some storylines WWE can have for her?

A Feud With Zelina Vega

At first, it appeared that Tiffany Stratton was going to have a small feud with Chelsea Green. Due to Green injuring her ankle during her qualifying match with Stratton and Lash Legend, it seems that the match will be delayed for another time. Stratton could have a match with one of Green’s partners, Alba Fyre. Following that, Zelina Vega can appear on the screen to begin a rivalry with Stratton. Much similar to how Karrion Kross’ rivalries, where wrestlers turn heel after the feud, Vega can have the same type of character arc.

For this feud to work, Stratton should lose at Elimination Chamber. Vega can get Stratton’s head by having her question herself about how she lost her way. Stratton’s failed attempts at winning back the Women’s Title can make her think if she’s still good enough as a main event star. This would be a refresher for Stratton as she would be out of the championship picture.

A feud of this caliber could give everyone an idea of how Stratton operates in non-championship rivalries. This post Elimination Chamber can culminate with Stratton coming up on top. In doing so, she can set her sights back on gold.

Pursuit Of WWE Women’s United States Championship

In terms of Tiffany Stratton possibly winning a feud with Zelina Vega, she can get back to pursuing championships. This time, the only difference would be that Stratton would not run for the title she lost. Instead, Stratton can pursue the WWE Women’s United States Championship.

This would also be another refresher to see since Giulia and Stratton never went against each other before. This is where Giulia’s manager, Kiana James, comes into play. WWE can use James and Stratton’s past in NXT to help escalate this potential program. Although Stratton would be a great fit as a challenger for Giulia, many other opponents could be in line for Giulia’s title.

Some names that could be credible challengers are Alexa Bliss and Jordynne Grace. It would put a huge thorn on Giuia’s back as she could see three people targeting her belt. Maybe a fatal four-way for the gold could occur at WrestleMania with a shocking result. To apply Triple H’s known long-term booking, Stratton can win the championship in a heel finish. This would be a heel turn that Vega was hinting at for Stratton a month prior.

For starters, Kiana James can cost Giulia by pulling the referee during the count to three. This would leave Giulia confused and distracted until Stratton capitalizes by hitting her “Prettiest Moonsault Ever” on Giulia to become champion. Stratton will celebrate with James by her side, creating an interesting duo. It will also be Stratton’s first heel turn in over a year.

Move To RAW

If WWE has a draft following WrestleMania, it would be great to see Tiffany Stratton move to the RAW brand. Stratton being on RAW can change so much for their women’s division. For one, Stratton will bring the Women’s United States Title, alongside Kiana James with her. Second, Stratton has been on SmackDown for two years now, ever since her main roster call-up.

A possible heel Stratton can bring prestige to the U.S Title, much like when Chelsea Green was champion. It would also be interesting to work with RAW’s possible top women’s babyfaces in the future, such as Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, and many more.
