What’s Next for Nikki Bella in WWE?

But fast-forward to the June 9th edition of Monday Night Raw, Nikki Bella made an appearance to prepare the women for the upcoming Evolution PLE, which will take place on July 13. Following that appearance, we could expect to see a match between Liv Morgan and Nikki Bella; however, with Morgan’s shoulder injury, plans are now going to have to change.

What’s next for Nikki Bella regarding WWE Evolution and moving forward?

WWE Evolution 2

As I mentioned earlier, WWE will be conducting another Evolution PLE for the women of the company. The event is still a few weeks away; however, it is approaching rapidly. Plans are still coming together for the event as WWE Night of Champions, which takes place this Saturday, June 28th, has been the main priority.

The next few weeks moving forward will be more focused on building the card for Evolution. Now that Liv Morgan is unfortunately out with a shoulder injury, that match that we could’ve expected between Morgan and Bella won’t be happening yet. 

There are many ways for the company to change the match, but it’s a matter of what makes sense and what the fans want to see. It would be interesting to see either Roxanne Perez or Raquel Rodriguez fill Morgan’s position. With Perez trying to squeeze herself into the Judgement Day, this would be a perfect opportunity to have her fill in for Morgan and build up that story for when she returns. 

It would also make sense for Raquel Rodriguez to take Morgan’s spot in the match and compete as a way of doing it for Morgan. Regardless, it will be interesting to see where WWE takes it. 

The Bella Twins

Any time one Bella Twin returns to the WWE, there is always speculation that the other one may come back as well. In this case, Nikki Bella has returned, and fans have been discussing the possible return of Brie Bella and what that could mean for the Bella Twins. 

Fans were speculating that the Bella Twins might face Rodriguez and Morgan, but with Liv Morgan out, perhaps Roxanne Perez could fill that role.

Fans are hopeful to see Brie Bella in the ring again, and there is still a possibility. After being asked about the possible return at the Kids’ Choice Awards, Brie Bella had to say to interviewer, Courtney Tezeno of 15 News, that,

“I would love to return (to WWE). But, you know, I’m kind of waiting for that call still. Nikki got the call, but Brie didn’t. I didn’t change my phone number if you guys wanted to know.” 

So as of right now, it doesn’t seem that the WWE has any plans for Brie Bella to make a return, but who knows, especially with Liv Morgan’s injury. It may not be at Evolution, but I am hopeful that we will see the return of the Bella Twins again.

Nikki Bella After WWE Evolution 2

Looking into the future of the WWE and Nikki Bella’s involvement, the big question that many have is, “Will Nikki Bella remain in the WWE after Evolution?”

Obviously, only she and the WWE know the answer to this question. However, it is unlikely that Nikki Bella will remain in the WWE after Evolution 2, at least not in a full-time capacity.

She is a single mother to a beautiful son, who, I’m sure, takes priority in her life, and WWE requires lots of travel. Bella has also recently revamped her clothing line, BirdieBee, and has been releasing more empowering clothing products. She may even have other projects that she is working on, which we aren’t aware of. 

What I’m getting at is that she already has a busy schedule, and a full-time WWE role is even more demanding in terms of travel. I would love to see Nikki Bella return to the ring full-time after Evolution; however, I’m not sure how likely that will be.
