Paul Heyman likes two things: managing the World champion and having the numbers advantage.
Neither of those things happened at the end of Monday Night Raw in Omaha. After brilliantly convincing Jey Uso to defend the World title against Seth Rollins, Heyman seemed to have the perfect plan in place, especially with Bron Breakker at ringside to watch Rollins’ back.
However, Heyman’s scheme fell apart when Sami Zayn arrived to attack Breakker. This opened the door for CM Punk to crash the party and ruin Rollins’ chance to win the World title.
Not only was Heyman’s crew outnumbered on Monday night, but Roman Reigns is another enemy waiting for his turn to exact revenge for Heyman’s betrayal at WrestleMania 41. So, we should expect Heyman to recruit some new soldiers in this war. Let’s take a look at some of the potential candidates for the new Dangerous Alliance.
Bronson Reed made a name for himself with repeated, violent attacks on Braun Strowman and on Rollins himself. Heyman could convince the Australian powerhouse to use his top-rope Tsunami splash on Heyman’s growing list of enemies.
Jeff Cobb has been rumored to be heading to WWE, despite this curious retirement tease:
16 years is a long time to work, Happy Retirement to me…. I’ll let the waves take me to my next destination.

Cobb is 42 years old, and he’s done everything he can in Ring Of Honor and New Japan. Now is the time to see what he can accomplish in WWE.
Sheamus is a dark-horse candidate, as he recently returned to the ring with a tremendous amount of crowd support. Perhaps Heyman can entice Sheamus to join the alliance in exchange for helping him win the elusive Intercontinental title.
Karrion Kross has been vocal about wanting to move up in the WWE pecking order. Heyman could give him that opportunity, and Kross could make an impact as Brian Pillman-like agent of chaos.
Heyman has managed World champions from Brock Lesnar to The Big Show to CM Punk to Reigns. Decades ago, he assembled Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Bobby Eaton, Arn Anderson and Medusa in the Dangerous Alliance. They battled Sting and the other heroes of WCW.
Don’t expect the “Wiseman” to allow his team to be outnumbered again.
