Logan Paul isn't a special attraction in the wrestling ring anymore. Like him or not, he’s a full-time member of the Raw roster. So, it’s not too far-fetched to think of him as a possible World champion, perhaps as soon as this weekend on Saturday Night’s Main Event. The 30-year-old YouTube entrepreneur has launched several sneak attacks on World champion Jey Uso leading up to this weekend’s title bout.
Paul has proven himself worthy of a title match, going back to when he was a part-timer. In his rookie year of 2022, he was already challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE title at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view. Paul had a major bout at WrestleMania 39 with Seth Rollins, and he retained the US title at WrestleMania 40 by defeating Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. He beat AJ Styles this year at WrestleMania 41.
So, are we ready to start the Logan Paul era when he faces Jey Uso this weekend?
Not if Gunther has anything to say about it. The Ring General has a title shot coming up against this weekend’s winner on the Monday Night Raw episode in Phoenix on June 9. Instead of sitting back and waiting to see who wins, Gunther tipped his hand and said he wants to avenge his World title loss at WrestleMania by defeating Uso.
Gunther really tore Logan Paul into a million pieces He said “You ain’t got no heart” and complimented Pat McAfee. He really hates that man #WWERAW pic.twitter.com/E3ybfOqoQ0

That means that Paul has the difficult task of winning the World title from Uso while avoiding Gunther’s attempts to keep the title on the current champion. This situation is similar to what happened at King of the Ring 94.
Bret Hart was defending the WWF championship against Intercontinental champion Diesel. Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart interfered and caused Bret to be disqualified. When Diesel and Shawn Michaels attacked Bret, Neidhart curiously disappeared.
This made sense later in the night when Neidhart helped Owen Hart to defeat Razor Ramon and become King of the Ring. “The Anvil” made sure that Bret had the title so that Owen could challenge him.
Paul has his work cut out for him, but now would be the perfect time for The Maverick to win the World title. With a two-night SummerSlam coming up, it would make perfect sense for a multimedia star like Logan Paul to wrestle in one of the main events.
