With No Creative Direction, Main Roster Superstar Could Head Back To NXT
WWE

We’ve seen this before-with no creative direction, a main roster Superstar could head back to NXT.

In recent years, WWE have shown an increased willingness to rotate talent between RAW, SmackDown and NXT. Doing so has absolutely helped to elevate the black and gold brand. Many years ago, some genius saw NXT as a possible third brand, as opposed to “only” developmental. But, at the time, as good as it did do, it couldn’t quite reach the ratings or success someone had in mind. Of course, the rising talents were doing just fine, and continue to do so. But, a lot has changed in recent years.

WWE

This latest iteration of NXT has seen some talent getting extended returns to their former homes. Both Finn Balor and Baron Corbin enjoyed returns. We’ve also seen names like Becky Lynch , Natalya and Shayna Baszler come back for some NXT fun. Even more notable? In recent months, NXT has been graced with the presence of John Cena , Cody Rhodes and The Undertaker. It is no longer seen as a step down. Even Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson recently spoke out about how their view of the youngest WWE brand has changed for the better.

Who next to return?

Following the draft, there’s a chance for some more familiar faces to return. According to Fightfu l, there is some interest in having Tegan Nox head back to Orlando. Per the report, there was not yet an indication of whether it would be for a short stint or a prolonged run. Nox first hit WWE by way of NXT, though she had significant injury issues early on. She was released, but she was someone whom Triple H was eager to bring back once he had the chance.

It will be interesting to see what could come of this. NXT did see a few female Superstars get drafted to RAW and SmackDown, so there would be some opportunities.
