WWE 2K25's First DLC Update Adds Paul Bearer's Ghost And A Playable Prime Bottle
via 2K
  • WWE 2K25's first wave of DLC, the New Wave pack, is now available.
  • It adds Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and the Motor City Machine Guns to the game.
  • The update also makes the ghost of Paul Bearer a manager you can use in all game modes, and adds a playable Prime Bottle mascot.

The first wave of WWE 2K25 DLC is here, fittingly dubbed the New Wave Pack. With it comes WWE video game debuts for Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and the Motor City Machine Guns. That we already knew. What we didn't know about were some of the other additions this week's update would bring to the game, including the ghost of Paul Bearer.

WWE 2K25's New Wave DLC Is Now Live

The update is live now, but if you haven't had the chance to check it out yet, 2K has shared everything it has added to the game on its website. Well, almost everything. When it revealed its slate of DLC wrestlers ahead of 2K25's launch, it promised some mystery celebrity guests. The first of those celebrities will be a part of this pack, and even though the pack is now live, that celebrity still hasn't been added to the game. More details will be revealed about that "in the coming weeks".

While the New Wave Pack needs to be bought, or requires you to have bought a special edition of WWE 2K25 or its Season Pass, the other additions to the game via this week's update are free for all owners of the game. That includes the second chapter of 2K25's Island story. There are now more quests to complete on The Island, and they revolve around some interesting new characters.

Paul Bearer's Ghost Is Now A Manager In WWE 2K25

Those who have played through The Undertaker's questline in The Island may have already encountered Bearer's ghost. The spirit of the late Hall of Famer issues you challenges. Not only will he be back to do the same again, but Bearer's ghost can be unlocked through The Island and used as your manager in other 2K25 modes. He will also issue a challenge that leads you to discover Triple H's sledgehammer, which can also be used elsewhere once found.

While Bearer's ghost will only be a manager, the Prime Bottle mascot added via this week's update will be a playable character. The mascot is also being added to 2K25 as a part of The Island's second chapter, first as a character you need to beat, and then as a playable character you can feature and use elsewhere once they have been defeated.

Since I haven't unlocked and used the Prime Bottle mascot yet, I'm unsure if who's inside can be revealed or if the face hole on the costume remains closed. It might be possible to put whoever you like in there. If so, you can realize Logan Paul's dream of having Stone Cold Steve Austin wear the bottle, and it won't cost you $1 million to make it happen.
