The first 2026 Saturday Night’s Main Event is set for January 26, 2026. The event will be at the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It’s worth noting that the night before, the arena will host Friday Night SmackDown. Anyway, the upcoming SNME is a week before the 2026 Royal Rumble. The PLE will be on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It’s the first time that the PLE will be outside of North America.
Tonight’s show took place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. It’s been a fun night. Jade Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton to become the new Women’s World Champion, while CM Punk finally got the gold without anybody interrupting him. Punk defeated Jey Uso to win the vacated WWE World Heavyweight Title. As noted, Seth Rollins had to vacate the title due to a shoulder injury that occurred around Crown Jewel in Perth. He’s supposed to be out for at least six months.
Elsewhere during the show, Dominik Mysterio retained his WWE Intercontinental Title against Penta and Rusev in a triple-threat match. Cody Rhodes also retained his Undisputed WWE Championship. He retained it against Drew McIntyre.
After tonight’s show, the next one is on December 13 in Washington D.C. at the Capital One Arena. This SNME marks John Cena’s last match ever in WWE. During tonight’s show, it was announced that there will be a tournament to see who is going to be his final opponent. The tournament, which is called “The Last Time is Now Tournament,” will begin on the November 10 episode of WWE RAW. He’s expected to be in attendance, as the episode is taking place in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.
Participants will be from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and elsewhere, which probably means TNA or AAA. According to the latest reports, his opponent is probably going to be former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
Along with the November 10 and December 13 events, Cena has two other appearances. On November 17 in New York City at Madison Square Garden, Cena is set for his last-ever RAW appearance. The other appearance will be at the WWE Survivor Series PLE on November 29 in San Diego. So soak up all those moments before they are gone.
