The Elimination Chamber has become an integral part of WWE’s long and arduous road to WrestleMania. However, the Elimination Chamber match wasn’t typically reserved as its own PLE, as the match took place at several different PLEs. Nevertheless, since 2010, the Elimination Chamber has had its own PLE. High-stakes championship matches and number one contender matches have featured inside the Chamber.
There have been 36 Elimination Chamber matches, and there are some statistics and records that some fans may not realize. Nevertheless, from eliminations to most appearances to successful conversion rates in winning a Chamber on the road to WrestleMania and converting it into a world title win at WrestleMania, among other statistics inside the dangerous Chamber, everything will be covered here!
Unsurprisingly, Randy Orton boasts the most appearances in men’s Elimination Chamber matches. He’s competed in nine Elimination Chamber matches, and Orton defeated Solo Sikoa and Aleister Black on SmackDown’s February 6, 2026, episode, punching his ticket to a record-extending 10th appearance in Elimination Chamber matches.
Despite competing in nine Elimination Chamber matches, Orton has only tasted victory once. He retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2014 on the final pitstop on the road to WrestleMania 30. Nevertheless, Orton’s longevity is impressive, as his maiden Elimination Chamber match was at SummerSlam 2003 as a member of Evolution at 23 with his mentor Triple H’s World Heavyweight Championship on the line
Liv Morgan thrives under pressure in high-stakes matches, which is why she has been a regular fixture in women’s Elimination Chamber matches. The 2026 women’s Royal Rumble match winner has the most appearances in women’s Royal Rumble matches, competing in all nine, with it taking the ninth attempt for her to win it.
However, Morgan has competed in a record six women’s Elimination Chamber matches. Her first appearance was in 2019, and she’s only missed the 2018 edition and will miss the 2026 women’s Chamber match, as she won the Rumble.
Morgan has an unwanted record as she’s competed in six Chamber matches, and she’s failed to win one. However, Morgan finished as a runner-up to Becky Lynch in 2024 and to Bianca Belair in 2025. Furthermore, Morgan’s got a joint-record five eliminations alongside Shayna Baszler, who eliminated all five opponents in 2020 with Morgan as one of her victims.
Six-time WWE world champion Chris Jericho has been one of the most prolific performers in the history of the Elimination Chamber. However, despite registering a solitary win to his name, he has been consistent when it comes to eliminating wrestlers from the Chamber. What’s even more impressive is that Jericho has been in AEW since 2019, and he still holds the record for the most eliminations in Elimination Chamber matches.
10 wrestlers have been vanquished from the Chamber at Jericho’s expense. Former world champions Booker T, Kane, Kevin Nash, Edge, JBL, Dolph Ziggler, and Kofi Kingston have been eliminated by Y2J. However, Jericho’s most treasured elimination was at Elimination Chamber 2010 when he eliminated The Undertaker to capture his third World Heavyweight Championship and sixth world championship overall.
Some WWE wrestlers struck gold by winning Elimination Chamber matches at the first attempt. However, only eight wrestlers have boasted an impressive 100% record in Elimination Chamber matches. For some wrestlers like Chris Jericho, it took several attempts to get over the line and prevail in an Elimination Chamber match.
Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Xavier Woods, Ryback, Jack Swagger, Shayna Baszler, and Becky Lynch are the eight wrestlers who are unbeaten in Elimination Chamber matches.
However, it’s surprising that the likes of Reigns and Lynch have only participated in one Elimination Chamber match throughout their legendary careers. Furthermore, the Queen of Spades’ triumph in 2020 was historic as she eliminated every competitor, punching her ticket to a Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 36.
For 16 years, Triple H stood alone with the most wins in the history of the Elimination Chamber with four wins. However, John Cena tied him in his final appearance in an Elimination Chamber match in 2025. Triple H retained the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2003, and he won his landmark 10th world championship at New Year’s Revolution 2005.
The Game waited three years to win another Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out 2008. He became the number one contender for the WWE Championship. A year later, Triple H won his 13th world championship after he outlasted The Undertaker at No Way Out 2009 for his fourth and final win in an Elimination Chamber match.
John Cena registered a solitary elimination in his first Elimination Chamber match at New Year’s Revolution 2006. He retained the WWE Championship after he eliminated Carlito. However, the leader of the Cenation’s second Chamber win didn’t come until Elimination Chamber 2010, when he won his eighth world championship.
Cena eliminated CM Punk to win his third Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber 2011, punching his ticket to a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 27. However, Cena prevailed in his fourth and final Elimination Chamber match in 2025, eliminating Punk once again to win.
1. Four WWE Stars Have Gone on to Win a World Title at WrestleMania After Winning their Elimination Chamber Number One Contender’s Match
Since 2008, WWE has featured Elimination Chamber matches on the road to WrestleMania. However, the conversion rate of wrestlers who win their number one contender Elimination Chamber matches and go on to win their respective world championship matches at WrestleMania is low. Only four out of 12 wrestlers who triumphed in number one contender Elimination Chamber matches prevailed in world title matches at the Showcase of the Immortals.
The Undertaker was the first to achieve this in 2008 when he defeated Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 24. Triple H, John Cena in 2011, Jack Swagger, Roman Reigns, and Shayna Baszler failed to win their respective world title matches after prevailing in their number one contender’s Elimination Chamber matches.
Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch for the WWE (RAW) Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38 after winning her Elimination Chamber match. However, the men have found success in the past couple of years with Drew McIntyre winning his Chamber match and defeating Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship in the curtain-raiser of WrestleMania 40 Sunday.
A year later, Cena clinched his record-breaking 17th world championship when he defeated Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Sunday.
