Hogan has been dealing with some health issues in the last few months and it was told that he was dealing with symptoms of a neck surgery he underwent in May. However, TMZ Sports is reporting that the legendary wrestler passed away early Thursday morning in Clearwater, Florida, and the cause of death was a cardiac arrest. Hulk Hogan has recently been on a media tour for his new venture, Real American Freestyle, a freestyle wrestling company that is set to debut on Aug. 30.
Hogan’s wife, Sky, denied rumors that he was in a coma a few weeks ago. Hulk Hogan made his name in WWE after joining the company and helping it grow from a territory into what we know of it today. As one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling, Hogan would win the WWE Championship six times and have a career that saw many ups and downs. He last wrestled for TNA Impact in 2012.
