WWE introducing Women's NXT North American Championship

The NXT women's division is getting another championship. During Stand & Deliver on Saturday, it was announced that WWE is introducing a Women's NXT North American title. The inaugural champion will be crowned "soon," but further details past that have not been disclosed. NXT general manager Ava made the announcement after a six-woman tag match where Thea Hail, Kelani Jordan & Fallon Henley defeated Jacy Jayne, Kiana James & Izzi Dame. "If that tag match doesn't show why we have the best women's division in all of professional wrestling, then I have no idea what does," Ava said. "I truly believe that the women are the backbone of NXT. That is why I am so excited and honored to announce that soon we will be crowning the first-ever Women's NXT North American Champion."
