WWE referees are the secret ingredient to every successful match. Beloved by wrestling fans for his fast runs, wild bumps, and trademark hair, legendary referee Charles Robinson has been a fixture of WWE for almost 25 years. "Little Naitch," as he was known in WCW, is not afraid to get in a wrestler's face — even fellow legend Chris Jericho.

Speaking about referees having to make adjustments on the fly, Robinson told Chris Van Vliet about the on-screen incident where he legitimately disqualified Chris Jericho in a match.

Neville was injured. He did something to his ankle. I'm asking him if he's okay and he wouldn't answer...All of a sudden, they go into a roll up. His shoulder comes up just a little bit, I know it's not the finish. I swipe it. Jericho gets hot. He's yelling at me, he's pushing on me, cussing at me. I'm cussing at him. Telling him to get his freakin' hands off of me.

After their exchange, Robinson called for a DQ finish on Jericho. When they got to the back, the heated yelling match continued.

Jericho rolled Neville up in an attempt to protect him because of his injury. According to Robinson, Jericho yelled at him, "I told you that was the finish!" Robinson hollered back, "I didn't hear you tell me that was the finish!"

Robinson told Van Vliet that if he had heard Jericho, he would have counted the 1-2-3. He would never go against him because "he's bigger than me."

Jericho and Robinson have since spoken about the incident. In that conversation, Jericho told him, "I was just acting." Robinson replied, "I've seen your movies. You're not that good of an actor."
