WWE NXT live results: Trick Williams vs. Shawn Spears

The road to Heatwave continues tonight with NXT Champion Trick Williams facing off against a potential upcoming challenger. Williams vs. Shawn Spears in non-title action is set for tonight’s WWE NXT episode. It comes after last week’s show ended with a brawl that had Williams & Je’Von Evans aligned agains Spears & Ethan Page. Evans won a battle royal last week to be confirmed as Williams’ Heatwave opponent. But, in the main event of the episode, Evans lost to Page in a singles match. With the way the show ended, it looks like it will be Williams vs. Evans vs. Page vs. Spears in a fatal four-way match for the NXT Championship at Heatwave. All four were left laying with the NXT Championship belt in between them. Heatwave is taking place on July 7. A Tag Team Turmoil match kicks off tonight’s episode and will determine the Heatwave challengers for NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom & Nathan Frazer. Frazer is competing tonight in a Heritage Cup trophy match against champion Tony D’Angelo. Plus, Sol Ruca vs
