This week, WWE NXT will recap what happened at No Mercy this past Saturday. The event featured intense feuds, and this week, we will find out what is next for these stars, along with taking a peek at how a new NXT Champion was crowned and the upcoming event NXT Invasion.

Match Card and Preview

  • Singles Match: Jaida Park vs. Lash Legend
  • NXT Invasion Team Announcement

One More Time Between Jaida Park and Lash Legend

Right now, Jaida Parker and Lash Legend are the only match advertised for this week’s NXT. I’m sure a lot more will unfold as some stars still have unfinished business and others who need to figure out what is next for themselves after the events of this past weekend.

However, this feud was reignited when Lash Legend distracted Jaida Parker during her Speed Match at NXT No Mercy, making her lose to the reigning champion, Sol Ruca.

Will these two settle their feud once and for all this week?

Who will be on Team NXT?

The General Manager of NXT, Ava, had announced the event NXT Invasion that will take place October 7th on the CW. It is a special event as it will be the first TNA vs. NXT event. The event will have survivor series style elimination matches with five men and women from each company. Ava announced that the members of these teams will be announced this week on NXT.

An NXT vs. TNA event has been buzzing around the audience since the partnership with TNA began, now they are finally getting what they asked for. Will they be able to meet the expectations of the audience? There is nothing more honest than a professional wrestling audience, they will everyone know if the event is a success or not.

Both promotions have strong rosters, but will they all be able to coexist? Will Ava and Santino Marella have picked the correct stars to represent them?

Who Attacked Lola Vice?

Lola Vice lost her NXT Women’s Championship match against Jacy Jayne in a disappointing ending. Many thought that this was finally Vice’s opportunity. Her family was in the crowd, it was a special event, and she’s popular with the fans, but on Saturday, someone else had something to say about it.

During the match, Vice was attacked by someone in all black. This interference is what helped Jacy Jayne in retaining the NXT Women’s Championship. Rumors and speculation has been floating around online that this attacker was NXT’s Lainey Reid.

Due to injury, last minute, Reid had to forfeit her NXT Speed Championship match, so was she the one who cost Vice the Women’s Championship? Or was it someone else who has it out for Vice?
