Lash Legend made a shock appearance on SmackDown this week to help Nia Jax in her match against one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Charlotte Flair. A backstage segment made clear that Lash and Nia are now aligned, and their partnership could make for one of the most destructive double acts in the promotion.
Lash interfered in Nia's match with Charlotte, hitting the other half of the tag champions, Alexa Bliss and putting her in a sleeper hold, which caused a distraction. Nia picked up a huge victory, and the pair headed backstage together in celebration, signifying they are a brand new tag team in the women's division.
WWE have now confirmed that Lash has indeed been called up to the main roster and has become a new member of the blue brand. She is listed as a SmackDown star on WWE.com, meaning her NXT days are over and she's made it to the big time.
Lash also gave confirmation herself on her X account: "Making a statement! The Boujee Bully has arrived."

The 29-year-old, a former college and professional basketball player, has been with WWE since December 2021. She has spent time in NXT where she's feuded with the likes of Nikkita Lyons and Cora Jade but never quite reached the NXT women's world title scene.
She had started a brief feud with Nia over who was more dominant before they aligned on SmackDown this week. She now looks set to enter the women's tag division and potentially challenge Charlotte and Alexa.
Cathy Kelley caught up with Lash Legend and Nia Jax backstage on SmackDown after the latter defeated Charlotte. She put her new teammate over before allowing her to speak:
"Clearly, if you didn't know, I'm Lash Legend, the one and only Boujee Bully. And based on what I just did to Alexa, clearly, I am everything I say I am. And best believe we're going straight to the top. Tonight was just the beginning."

Lash had performed as a babyface at the end of her NXT run and was a hit with fans but her booking was confusing given she was headed to the main roster. Her final appearance on Tuesday nights was a loss to Evolve Women's Champion Kendal Grey.
The women's division is perhaps the strongest it's ever been and that includes stars on RAW, SmackDown and NXT. It will be interesting to see how Lash fits in and whether she'll get a significant push alongside Nia.
