WWE Raw has concluded its tour of Europe and is back in the United States. Coming to audiences live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, there's a women's title match on the cards tonight and a WrestleMania main eventer is set to address fans after CM Punk and Roman Reigns' explosive ending to WWE Smackdown.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN ... his name is PAUL HEYMAN and he has a lot on his mind. What better place to address the #WrestleMania favor than tomorrow night on #WWERaw?!📠MINNEAPOLISðŸŽŸï¸ https://t.co/X3rjY119Fdpic.twitter.com/2nD1qYJMcY— WWE (@WWE) April 6, 2025
On Smackdown this past Friday, Paul Heyman stood in a corner concerned as his Tribal Chief got in his face about his acceptance of CM Punk's offer. It seems that Heyman will indeed be in Punk's corner for the Triple Threat main event at WrestleMania 41.
Heyman is set to address the aftermath of that decision tonight on Raw, but Seth Rollins and CM Punk are both advertised to make an appearance. Rollins may have some questions for Heyman, but expect this segment to be more of a victory lap for Rollins as Heyman squirms in fear of what Rollins can do to him. Perhaps Punk will come out to save Heyman, but anything can happen.
Can THIS version of The New Day become World Tag Team Champions tomorrow night on #WWERaw or will @Erik_WWE & @Ivar_WWE send @AustinCreedWins & @TrueKofi on another vacation?!📠MINNEAPOLISðŸŽŸï¸ https://t.co/X3rjY119Fdpic.twitter.com/0p4fFTmggu— WWE (@WWE) April 6, 2025
Since their epic heel turn in December 2024, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have been demanding respect from the WWE and its fans. It seems that they're finally getting some tonight as they will receive a championship opportunity against the World Tag Team Champions Erik and Ivar.
I suspected that the War Raiders' title win over The Judgment Day months ago was merely a transitional reign to set up the crowning of a heel New Day, and this match should cement that. Perhaps a rematch at WrestleMania is possible, but expect the New Day to earn their 13th tag team championship as a team tonight.
Following last week's shocking moment, what will the aftermath be between @Gunther_AUT and Jey Uso ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship match at #WrestleMania?Find out tomorrow yeet on #WWERaw!📠MINNEAPOLISðŸŽŸï¸ https://t.co/X3rjY119Fdpic.twitter.com/WEqSJjwytT— WWE (@WWE) April 6, 2025
Jey Uso had to sit and watch last week as his WrestleMania 41 opponent Gunther laid the beating of a lifetime on his twin brother Jimmy. It was so bad that Jimmy was left a bloody mess while Gunther licked up the blood of his fallen foe.
After an explosive segment like that, I doubt Jey Uso is going to be in much of a talking mood. Uso should drop the "Yeeting" tonight and head straight for Gunther looking for revenge in a bloody way.
In perhaps a shocking move, Bayley is set to take on the Women's Intercontinental Champion and her partner in a tag team qualifying match for WrestleMania 41 on Friday, Lyra Valkyria. Throughout Valkyria's reign as champion, Bayley has come to her defense a few times but it's going to be a fight for glory tonight.
Given that the two are babyfaces and they're going to team up on Friday to try and earn a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, you would think tonight's match will be a good, clean fight. However, given that both Valkyria and Bayley's characters as of late have been completely flat, I can see the seeds for a heel turn coming. Expect some major tension to form between these two performers and for Lyra Valkyria to turn heel on Smackdown later this week. Valkyria becoming a paranoid and jealous champion worried about the veteran Bayley stealing her glory ahead of WrestleMania 41 is a good idea to spice up her character and develop her on-screen persona more than just "smiling bird lady happy to be here".
With the use of a hilarious A.I video and some great backstage segments, Chad Gable's (or is he?) El Grande Americano gimmick has had fans talking. He finally had his in-ring debut two weeks ago by defeating Dragon Lee. Two weeks ago on Raw, Chad Gable claimed he was sick and on last week's episode the sickness continued but Adam Pearce said that Gable's illness would knock him off the card in his hometown.
Given that El Grande Americano has yet to take on Rey Mysterio, it makes sense for Americano to cheat his way to victory tonight against the best luchadore in wrestling history.
Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker has been beefing with The Judgment Day for a while now, but also has had to contend with Penta who is gunning for his Intercontinental Championship.
Penta has no love lost for Dominik Mysterio after Penta rejected his offer to join the Judgment Day last week. The two will clash tonight but given how chaotic Bron Breakker is, expect this match to cause a DQ one way or another as WWE continues to build to some kind of multi-man match for WrestleMania 41.
If you want to watch WWE Raw anywhere in the world, you just have to sign up for a Netflix account which you can do at this link:
But what about the show itself? Will it be any different? Does it matter what kind of subscription you have? Thankfully, no matter what kind of plan you use on Netflix, you'll be able to watch Raw, just with more ads if you don't have an ad-free plan. Triple H has confirmed that Raw will not be censored back in June 2024 (via The Pat McAfee Show):
Right now, just as an example of us being on Fox, if the crowd chants ‘Holy s---,’ or something much worse, they just take that audio. Sometimes they take the picture and the audio off, and it’s just black screen... We won’t have those issues with Netflix. The ability to be live globally, the ability to have everything seen all at once everywhere, it’s a game-changing moment.
While that doesn't mean that the show is necessarily TV-14, you can kiss those annoying audio drops whenever someone curses or the crowd chants "Holy s---t!" goodbye. Since the move to Netflix, the show's runtime has ran somewhere between two and three hours.
