The final WWE Raw before Saturday Night’s Main Event airs today at a special start time in the United States, live from Belfast, Northern Ireland. The show will spotlight two of Ireland’s top wrestling exports, Finn Balor and Becky Lynch, both competing in championship matches on a pivotal go-home episode.
U.S. viewers can watch live on Netflix beginning at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT. The episode will be available to stream on demand immediately after the live broadcast.
The Royal Rumble is nearing, which means all WWE programming is can't-miss television. Surprises are expected at the Rumble, but WWE has already given us a newsworthy January.
Here are my predictions for Raw in Belfast.
Bálor is overdue for another world title run, but the timing isn’t right. This feels like a major showcase rather than a crowning moment. Punk retains.
Maxxine continues to improve, but this reign still belongs to “Big Time” Becks. With bigger challengers like AJ Lee looming, Lynch holds onto the title.
Rey Mysterio, Penta & Dragon Lee vs. The Vision(Bronson Reed, Austin Theory & Logan Paul w/ Paul Heyman)
Six-man tag team match
The Vision needs this win heading into the Rumble. Expect chaos throughout — and don’t rule out an appearance from Bron Breakker, invited or not.
The novelty of El Grande Americano is starting to fade, while Evans is still being carefully protected. Evans picks up the victory.
Gunther will officially declare for the Royal Rumble. An interruption from AJ Styles could further their rivalry, or this could be a dominant solo promo as Gunther continues to reference the spoils of his victory over John Cena. If a clash with Chris Jericho is on the horizon, today would be the place to plant the seed.
