After all the controversy from The Rock's appearance on the previous Friday's WWE SmackDown, this past Monday's edition of WWE Raw nearly equalled its post-Royal Rumble numbers, doing 1.89 million viewers and an 0.58 in the 18-49 demo. The show was no. 1 on cable by a wide margin with the only real close competition being ABC's The Bachelor which also did an 0.58 in the demo. However, being on a broadcast network gives it a large advantage in total homes. The real 18-49 demo rating of both shows would be 1.28 for Raw and 0.81 for The Bachelor based on an actual percentage of viewers who have access to their respective networks. Also, in the two hours they went head-to-head, Raw did slightly higher than The Bachelor so it was really no. 1 on television overall. Raw was only down one percent in viewers from last week and six percent in the 18-49 demo off the post-Rumble show that was expected to do one of the biggest numbers of the year.
