This article contains spoilers regarding WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event from November 1, 2025. You have been warned!

A night of championship matches this evening on WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event, as became the new World Heavyweight Champion in Salt Lake City. After the surprising injury Seth Rollins suffered in his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, CM Punk and Jey Uso face off to determine the new face of the Netflix Era.

Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre faced off for the Undisputed WWE Championship, with Rhodes having no advantage whatsoever in their match and McIntyre with a must-win final shot for the title. Jade Cargill, fully leaning into her heel turn, faces off against Tiffany Stratton for the Women's Championship, and Dominik Mysterio defends his Intercontinental Championship against Penta and Rusev in a triple threat.

Here Are Your Results From WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

  • Cody Rhodes def. Drew McIntyre via pinfall to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship
  • Jade Cargill def. Tiffany Stratton via pinfall to win the WWE Women's Championship
  • Dominik Mysterio def. Penta and Rusev via pinfall to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship

CM Punk Wins The World Heavyweight Championship

CM Punk is once again the World Heavyweight Champion, besting Jey Uso in tonight's spectacular and high-energy main event. Punk, who previously held the Big Gold 2.0 for less than five minutes this August at SummerSlam, is back in the WWE championship scene after his surprise return to the company in 2023 after almost a decade away.

Punk, in his return season to WWE, now takes the top position in the Netflix Era as the face of Monday Night Raw in what could potentially be the last major run of his career. With The Vision and LA Knight in the purview, and Jey Uso likely clamoring for his rematch, Punk's reign may be shorter than anticipated if any one of them have their way, but we're happy to see him back with WWE gold.

Jade Cargill Wins The WWE Women's Championship In Supremely Dominant Fashion

In a match that was one-sided from the time the bell rang, Jade Cargill silenced doubters and critics alike by winning the WWE Women's Championship. In a stunning, and short, affair, Cargill manhandled Tiffany Stratton with multiple powerbombs and a vicious Jaded to put her away and claim the gold in just over five minutes.

The match was so decisive, the crowd was stunned at the level of Cargill's dominance against her opponent (we feel you, Posty!). After months and months of critical analysis and discussion about her ability in the ring, Cargill showed just how physically impressive she can be, and the SmackDown women's roster was fully on notice: Respect the Storm, or Get Broken.

John Cena Announces 16-Man Tournament To Decide His Final Opponent In December

After almost a year of speculation as to who would face John Cena in his final match, Cena himself announced the first step to determine who it would be. This Monday on Monday Night Raw, a 16-man "The Last Time Is Now Tournament" will take place to see who will face John Cena in his retirement match at the next Saturday Night's Main Event from Washington D.C. on December 13th.

Cena wants his opponent to take the same opportunity he took when he debuted in WWE over twenty years ago, and this tournament has the potential to elevate a new WWE Superstar. Although Cena said that some competitors "may not even work here", we'd be surprised to see Adam Copeland in this, even though we want to see it so badly.
