WWE SmackDown Results Tonight (5/2/25):

  • WWE SmackDown kicks off with LA Knight airing out his grievances after not winning his number one contender’s U.S. Title match against Drew McIntyre due to a disqualification caused by Damian Priest. The former Judgment Day member then interrupted the “Megastar,” saying that it was nothing personal and he was just out for revenge against McIntyre. The two went back and forth, blaming each other for what happened, and they called for a referee to begin their match, which was set for later that night. Damian Priest was on the cusp of beating LA Knight after a show-stealing match. Unfortunately, Solo Sikoa interfered, leading to another no-contest. Knight and Priest would beat down Sikoa and after the non-finish. Jacob Fatu would clean the house afterward.
  • Pretty Deadly caught up with Fraxiom, welcoming them to SmackDown, and immediately wanted them to prove themselves, leading to this tag team contest. This match went about at a break-neck pace, so much so that a Standing Shooting Star Press from Nathan Frazer busted Elton Prince’s mouth bloody. The hectic contest ended when Fraxiom hit their Spanish Fly/Phoenix Splash combo on Kit Wilson for the pinfall victory.
  • Nia Jax addresses the WWE Universe next. Jax stated that while Tiffany Stratton was out there defending the WWE Women’s Title, she was refocusing at home, plotting to reclaim the championship, and she said she would. Stratton would come out and reply that she would defend her title anytime, anywhere. Naomi would then interject herself into the situation, stating that they owe her a title match after making her life a “living hell.” Jade Cargill would enter the arena, once again beating down Naomi. This chaos ended when SmackDown GM Nick Aldis sanctioned a tag match for later tonight between Stratton and Cargill against Naomi and Jax.
  • Next on the WWE SmackDown card tonight, The Miz looks for revenge against a returning Aleister Black. Like clockwork, Aleister Black was still as dominant as ever, and we can argue he might even be better this time around. After a competitive match against The Miz, Black would secure the win with a devastating Black Mass. Afterward, Carmelo Hayes would stare down Black, seemingly stepping up to the plate.
  • New Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega faces off against “Secret HERvice” member Piper Niven.
