WWE SmackDown moving to three hours at start of 2025

WWE SmackDown is officially making the move to three hours. Confirming what had been expected, WWE announced today that SmackDown will become a three-hour show starting with its first episode of 2025. That Friday, January 3 episode is taking place from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona and will air live on USA Network from 8-11 p.m. Eastern time.
