All roads lead to Australia. 24 hours from WWE Crown Jewel Perth, WWE SmackDown arrives in the “Land Down Under” to serve up a scintillating edition of WWE’s premier Friday night program. Titles are on the line, and a grudge will be settled in the RAC Arena. WWE Universe, the party starts this October 10, 2025. As such, we all know what you’re waiting for. Here’s a full WWE SmackDown preview as Friday night fight night takes over Perth. Let’s run it down.
The tension between Aleister Black and Damian Priest has escalated to a worrying degree. Both men are out for blood after months of cheap shots and sickening assaults. What started as a firm conversation between the two men about what both should do turned into something combustible in short order. Black has gone out of his way to make Priest’s life a living hell in WWE, getting the jump on an unsuspecting Damian week in and week out.
Last week on SmackDown, Priest proved that he’s had enough. Black was on the verge of becoming United States Champion, having Sami Zayn on the ropes during the U.S. Open Challenge. Damian Priest would not allow this to happen, getting even by providing a distraction, leading to Priest losing out on claiming the U.S. Title.
Suffice it to say, both men are now on an even playing field. Unfortunately, Black and Priest do not want to be even, wanting to assert dominance in a competitive landscape such as the WWE SmackDown locker room. This week in Perth, Damian Priest and Aleister Black settle the score once and for all in a Last Man Standing Match.
The mechanics of the match are simple: beat your opponent down until they can’t get on their feet to answer the 10-count. Considering the competitors and the bad blood between them, it will be an outright war come Friday night.
Will Aleister Black kick Priest’s head into oblivion? Or will Damian Priest send Black packing straight back to hell?
Ahead of their showdown at WWE Crown Jewel Perth for the WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer face a common enemy, as they take on Women’s United States Champion Giulia and her official representative, Kiana James.
On this past week’s SmackDown, Stratton and Vaquer signed on the dotted line to make their match official, showing each other respect while not backing down from one another. Giulia and Kiana James would interfere in the proceedings, attacking Stratton as she made her way to the back and offering Vaquer an opportunity to join them.
Giulia and James would bite off more than they could chew, as they got a beatdown for their troubles. With all this animosity lingering in the air, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis immediately sanctioned a blockbuster tag team match for this Friday night, wherein the top champions of their respective brands will team up to take on the “Beautiful Madness” and her business partner.
There really is nothing more to say about this match except that it’s a box office affair waiting to happen, a night away from WWE Crown Jewel Perth, no less.
Can SmackDown and Raw’s champions co-exist long enough to claim victory? Or will Giulia and Kiana James make them wish they didn’t step up in the first place?
Let’s all find out this coming Friday night in Perth, and you can catch it live on The USA Network and Netflix!
