WWE SmackDown Results: Surprise Return & Heel Turn on Tiffany Stratton

Jade Cargill returned to WWE SmackDown and turned heel on Tiffany Stratton. Cargill had not been seen since the chaotic botch-fest that was the Triple Threat Match involving Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Championship last month.

Cargill saved Stratton from a post-match beatdown from Kiana James and Giulia. After clearing the ring of the adversaries, Cargill raised Stratton's hand in a friendly moment. It felt too nice all along.

Cargill clotheslined Stratton, then attacked her, focusing on Stratton's knee.

Cathy Kelly hustled to chase down Cargill backstage, asking if she was concerned about consequences. Cargill had this to say:

Consequences? You only face them when you make a mistake, and the only mistake I made was thinking that this world rewards patience. It rewards power. And I'm not going to ask for it. I'm taking it, starting with the WWE Women's Championship.

Cargill will likely challenge Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event next Saturday in Salt Lake City.

Cody Rhodes addressed the WWE Universe to open the show. He was interrupted by Drew McIntyre. McIntyre insinuated Rhodes is responsible for attacking Jacob Fatu, and the fans are deceived. Jimmy Uso attacked Drew, seeking revenge because he believes Drew attacked Jacob.
