The WWE Survivor Series: WarGames “go-home” show of WWE SmackDown, which is slated to air on November 28, 2025, was taped right after the November 21st episode. This was done as to accommodate the Thanksgiving Holiday, giving the WWE superstars as well as the entirety of the promotion to celebrate the occasion and prepare for Saturday night’s big PLE. How did it stack up? Here are WWE SmackDown spoilers for November 28, 2025, as we give our thoughts and some analysis.
It’s always nice for the guys and gals of WWE, as well as the crew of people behind the scenes, to get rest, since WWE SmackDown shows, any WWE show for that matter, when pre-taped, tend to have very minor developments. While the show wasn’t mind-blowing by any means, it did have a few fair moments that are still worth watching.
First, LA Knight was always bound to advance, regardless of whether it was Sheamus or The Miz. Regardless, it’s nice for someone like The Miz, who’s often overlooked and underappreciated, to get one more shot and hammer the point home that being John Cena’s last opponent is highly coveted.
The segment between Jade Cargill and Chelsea Green is confusing. Yes, Green is, for the most part, a comedic character. But your new Women’s United States Champion getting her butt handed to her weeks after winning the title to make your other champion look good is a misfire, since the Women’s United States Title hasn’t really been a high-profile prize since being conceived early last year.
Everyone thought the ship would be steered in the right direction after a lackluster run by Giulia with the title, but it wasn’t.
Flair winning advantage for the face team is exciting because the heel team always gets it and makes use of the numbers game early in the match. Is this a sign that someone in Team RHIYO isn’t all the way committed, and a heel turn will be on the horizon?
Flair turning would be highly predictable, so it could definitely be Alexa Bliss or even IYO SKY.
Finally, we got MFT and The Wyatt Sicks. Since Tama Tonga came back, the war between the two has been brewing for a while now, which many thought would lead to a Traditional Survivor Series Match. But apparently, WWE has other ideas, and this will drag on until next year.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII will be dedicated to NXT talent, as well as John Cena’s final match, and we don’t really see it getting included on the card since it will be out of place. We don’t know where this is headed, but it’ll potentially lead to MFT taking the WWE Tag Team Titles away from The Wyatt Sicks at either the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber.
For the most part, this was a solid show. Again, nothing spectacular. It furthered some storylines past 2025, finalized things for this coming Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, as well as heated up the John Cena “Last Time is Now Tournament.”
If we’re going to give it a rating, we’ll give it a seven out of 10, which is still pretty solid and probably worth it for the Team Sami and Team MFT Classic Survivor Series Elimination Match, on top of the Flair and Asuka one-on-one.
