Bron Breakker has become one of WWE's top heels and could start the new year as World Heavyweight Champion. The Vision's leader challenges CM Punk for the gold on the RAW on Netflix debut (January 5th).
The 28-year-old is ascending to the top of the business, and WWE have plans to make him world champion next year. They even think he has the potential to become the next Roman Reigns.
Breakker isn't the only powerhouse shining in the company, though, as Oba Femi has caught the eye in NXT, where he has ruled over recent years. He was selected as one of four NXT stars showcased at John Cena's retirement show, Saturday Night's Main Event, earlier this month.
Bodyslam+ reports on Patreon that officials are "unbelievably impressed" with Femi's recent main roster appearances. That included his exchange with Cody Rhodes on SmackDown and their match at SNME, which ended in a disqualification.
This is why WWE has aired vignettes for the Nigerian on SmackDown and RAW. There are high hopes for the 27-year-old, and the higher-ups are viewing him on par with Breakker.

Femi is one of four NXT stars who are reportedly set to be called up to the main roster soon. The reigning NXT Champion looks set to be pushed immediately as a major star amid claims he is seen as a "main event player for years to come."
Oba Femi's time in NXT has seen him dominate most of the roster and become a two-time NXT Champion. He has written himself into the brand's history books, and there is widespread fan support for using him similarly to how Brock Lesnar was after he ended The Undertaker's streak.
The Ruler also has the backing of WWE's chief content officer, Triple H, who named him one of four NXT stars who are the future of the company. He said on the Wrestlepalooza pre-show:
"There is a Trick Williams, there is an Oba Femi, there is an Ethan Page, there is a Sol Ruca. That is the future."
Trick Williams is already on the main roster and looks set to become a member of the SmackDown brand. Ethan Page remains NXT North American Champion and is doing stellar work on Tuesday nights.
Sol Ruca looks primed to be the next breakout women's star on the main roster once she is called up. But of those four, it's Femi who possesses the most potential to become a megastar on the same level as Reigns, Rhodes and Punk.
Femi could well be called up to the main roster next month, and that might mean he loses his NXT title. He defends the championship against TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater at New Year's Evil on January 6th.
