WWE Streams AAA Event on YouTube, Competing with AEW Full Gear

Again, this will be a battle between the two rival promotions, WWE and AEW. The show will be available to start streaming around 9:15 P.M., just around the time AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view main event will likely be starting. Did WWE stream their last event? No. So they are just giving the promotion a leg up while it battles out with AEW.

Normally, it’s WWE NXT premium live events vs. AEW’s pay-per-views. This past summer, it seemed that it happened a lot. On May 25, WWE held the NXT Battleground PLE, which went up against AEW’s Double Or Nothing. AEW All In Texas was on July 12, and that same day, was NXT Great American Bash. In August, on the 24th, it was AEW/NJPW’s Forbidden Door PPV versus NXT Heatwave PLE. When WWE was going to do their first PLE on ESPN, Wrestlepalooza, it was going to be up against AEW All Out, but Tony Khan decided to change the time. If Khan didn’t change it, it was going to be the first main roster PLE to go up against an AEW event. So there is counter-programming, which shouldn’t be too surprising.

The Card For Lucha Libre AAA’s Event

WWE acquired the Mexican lucha libre promotion in April 2025. Saturday’s AAA show will include several WWE Superstars, like AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio, who will be teaming with El Grande Americano to face Dragon Lee and El Hijo del Vikingo. Chelsea Green and Ethan Page are going to be defending their AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana. Natalya will be teaming up with Faby Apache to face Flammer and La Hiedra.

NXT Superstar Je’Von Evans, who was recently in John Cena’s The Last Time Is Now Tournament, is going to be in a number one contender’s match for the AAA Cruiserweight title. Axiom and Octagon Jr are also in the match. Other matches include La Parka versus Galeno del Mal, Psycho Clown, Pagano, Dave the Clown, and Murder Clown versus El Mesias, Forastero, Mecha Wolf, and Sanson. So it's a stacked show.
